ignore that shit, ignorance is their forte!
not just Africans that are tough I have come across some very tough eastern europeans as well. I hate sparring with them! There are tough people everywhere if Im honest
Amount of ignorance on this thread is stupefying. I know you'd have to go out of your way to take an African history course but if you don't know then STFU.
Fighting animals? Disgusting...
Plenty of Africans in London and they are tough. I wouldn't say they can fight, but I have heard that 20 guys jumped this African and the next day he was in school with only a few bruises.
Agubeko, Mtwaga, Clottey, Ibeabuchi. The professor? Motherfukkas just wont get hurt. Better be prepared to die if you go toe to toe with them.
and what ledwaba doesn't get on your list? o wait thats right he got ktfo by pac.
You can't mention African fighters without mentioning Quartey, Ike was savage in his own right. To this day he IS the best African fighter, lol I think. Had a jab like sling shot, and was explosive for the majority part of his career. Even when he slowed down, he was still on his toes and could react.
Azzzumah Nelson as the best fighter to come out of Africa for a while.
African fighters are the toughest. Unlike mexicans, when fighters hit african fighters is almost like hitting a wall and their face don't show any bruises, which can be discouraging to their opponents. When the last round ends they look exactly like the first round.
yup very true ...they are rarely cut

ledwaba was hurt pretty bad if i remember correctly...
mugabi too...
A lot of it is down to the fact that we have such a hard upbringing, living in very harsh conditions will always make u fight just that bit harder when some gives you an oppurtunity to get out of such conditions.
Sadly Peters has forgotten and lost the hunger
Didn't Sam Peters have a particularly wealthy up-bringing?

Some regions of the world just seem to produce a higher than average number of very tough guys: Ghana, Argentina and South Korea spring to mind. Why? I don't know. Could be genetic, could have something to do with the culture (emphasising toughness and heart over skills perhaps), could be the harsh environment or it could be a combination of all these things and more.
By the way, some of the ignorance in this thread is quite amusing. Masai warriors? Zulus?? Guys getting eaten by lions??? Seriously, some of the stuff you guys are coming out with is just hilarious. It's kinda like the equivalent of saying: "Damn those Poles are some tough Scandinavian bitches, and what about those Italians man! Must be all the cold weather and Guinness they drink...etc"
definitely has something to do with the environment these guys from africa grew up in.. I can Imagine the hardest ghettos in america would be like picnic zones in africa.. Tough motha****as those guys..

Tough men. Can't overstate the importance of a good chin. Obviously takin punches don't win you a fight, but it keeps you in a fight. African fighters are mos def some hard guys to crack.
