you can't use the triangle theory in boxing....doesn't work besides, everyone knew that Lang had ALOT of distractions coming into the rematch...his promoter was suing him, he was getting less pay than the first fight AND Balboa made him wear a different set of gloves everyone knew it was a fluke...including Balboa...that's why they never had a rubbermatch....nooob :grr: Don't talk distractions with me man, Balboa's trainer died right before his match with Lang, if he hadn't I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't have mattered whether or not Balboa took Lang seriously, still a KO5.

Balboa was a club fighter Villain...think about that for a minute...he had NO BUSINESS even being in the ring with someone that was SUPPOSEDLY as talented as Creed Balboa is a club fighter that Apollo didn't take seriously, Evander Holyfield was supposed to smoke Bert Cooper but did the same thing Apollo did. Everyone has bad nights, Apollo had one. and in the 2nd fight? SAME SHIT...you know what? Creed DID learn his lesson after the fight bout so he trained his ass off....result: STILL a war where he struggled...personally, i think the ref should have stopped the fight in the 8th and gave it Rocky Creed STILL showed that Balboa wasn't in his league, but like I said, Apollo is a true champ who isn't afraid of some chump with a good chin. It should've been over before the 3rd round when Creed had Balboa bloodied, battered and down twice, not to mention making him look like the nobody he is, Apollo was proving that Balboa had just gotten lucky in their first fight, but as I said, he let his pride get the better of him and looked for the KO. Creed is a disgrace to elite HW boxing....Lang murks him Creed wouldn't have ducked Lang like Balboa and his handlers were. We would've got in that ring and embarrassed him. Prime Rocky had Clubber KTFO, and past his prime Creed dominated prime Rocky when focused in the rematch. Clubber looked so devastating against Balboa because Balboa is a perfect matchup for him.

Creed was outclassing him in every aspect, but he let his warrior pride come out too far and ended up fighting Balboa's fight (and still almost beat him at his own game). Creed UD's Balboa by a wide margin when he fights the way he should.

I think if Creed is to fight him now would be the best time. Though Creed would have to box him all night long, and not get pulled into a fight. Well, there's the whole Creed is dead factor to add in there.. Creed TKO7 Lang, Lang will just be absorbing to much punishment.

Prime Apollo would f*****g own Clubber. It would take more than three rounds because he isn't a dumbass like Balboa, but it would be a much more convincing win. Creed would easily decision Vitali. Vitali's chin and size would discourage Clubber, and Lang's lack of defense would probably land him on his ass within 5.

Creed had speed and Power, and Lang was a hardcore pressure fighter with power. Creed would take them both, Vitali would give Lang some trouble with his jab because of the size difference, but clubber would eventually tap that glass jaw, and Vitali would eat canvas.
