Will it ever happen You can say he cherry picks or use other fighters performance against his past opponents or not fighting real weltaweights even. The Fact still remain All 40 Fighters had a Game Plan and all 40 failed. No one can be compared to him , Past or Present. Most Fans are Action Junkees and love a bang out ,balls to the wall slugfest Floyd is called PrettyBoy for a reason. And Marquez called him out ,not the other way around.Shane is not the answer to your problems.
He didnt look unbeatable or anything he aint fuking invincible or super man like roy jones heheh
Nah man his gameplay is a left cross jumping in and he sets everything around that
I got a feeling sugar shane would put him on his arse...

to be honest, there is a few fighters out there with a chance of beating him like mosley, cotto, pac, williams and even margarito. but id imagine mayweather wil be the favourite against all of those fighters. he could probably step up to middleweight and whoop pavlik with ease if he had some balls to fight someone bigger than him. all 40 had a gameplan and 39 came up short, castillo should have been given the W IMO.
maybe, maybe not. 1 man i think may have had a great great chance and that would be paul williams. I know floyd would never have fought him, but williams has a far far better reach advantage thus floyd would have to get in range, also williams never stops throwing punches for 12 rounds and floyd wouldnt have to time to pot shot or the reach to get in and out without being peppered with punches from the punisher.

it was a good fight ,but he lost twice
if i fought a mixture of 40 old, midget or bum fighters and they had gameplans i guarantee id win anyway. if i fought a guy the same size and weight as me then i dont know how id do its a toss up but if i keep beating midgets i can claim to be the best because ill never have to proove it.
it's not about size it's all skill and strategy.people go by the p4p list Marquez rank #2 and he called floyd out, that p4p ranking are money bouts
Anyone can beat anyone on the right night, BUT I make Mayweather heavy favourite against all potential opponents
Williams has the best chance, but at 147lbs or even 154lbs I still favour Floyd.
Of the realistic potential opponents, Pacquiao has the best chance. I think his offense can bother Floyd but I don't think he can ultimately handle Floyd's offense. Mayweather will keep Pacquiao off balance and the left hooks and straight rights Manny eats throughout the fight will be sickening
why wont he accept that challenge from pwill?
now that would be a challenge, pwill does have the talent to do so but not a big enough name. But he will next year

Oh come on!!!!!! What do you think Floyd tried to 2 years ago?
Floyd hasn't tested himself since a good tough fighter named Jose Luis Castillo gave him two good fights. He can absolutely be beaten by the three best welterweights, and Manny can beat him too.
it's floyd duty to test himself thats the opponents job ,Mosley,Cotto and Clottey won't pressure him like Castillo did,Manny flourished against a brawler style fighter which floyd is not
Has any boxer tried punching his shoulder with a hook and then follow it with a right to the head. That could work
marquez did that in 2rd when floyd was against the ropes he landed a good shot shortly after that floyd decked him
He sure can. Anything is possible in the ring. All it takes is for him to make a mistake, he gets caught, and it's over. Or who knows, he just may have a bad night.
Nobody is unbeatable
Calzaghe retired unbeaten and untested .I think he ran out of the sport. His notable wins came against 40 year olds.Hatton's garbage.Shane would be a good fight ,but would lose a ud.Mararito is too slow,no.

Floyd beats mosley by UD.. Floyd beats manny by UD.. Unless manny gets him in the corner an lands bombs for 12 rounds.. But mayweather is the bigger man, and i doubt manny would be able to do that
I've seen the formula for beating floyd in several different boxers skill, but not in one single boxing using those combined skills. To make that statement clear, when FLoyd fought Chop Chop Corely, he had to hustle, because Corely kept cutting off the ring and the distance, forcing Mayweather to actually fight. Hatton pressured Floyd to a point where they were clinching more than fighting, and it took all of Mayweather's skills to stay away from Ricky, and it was Ricky's own innability to keep up that pressure that got him knocked out. Zab was out gunning Floyd for the first several rounds, and even got a slight knockdown, which, if he could have kept up that pace, might have won him the fight, but as usual, he ran out of steam way before that chance ever came.
A fighter that can combine all the skills of the other fighters that have given Floyd long and arduous fights where he has had to pull the win off by the skin of his teeth, is the boxer that will clearly beat FLoyd. Speed, relentless pressure, power punching and cutting off both the distance between him and FLoyd as well as the ring so Floyd has to engage, will come out victorious.
That's just an honest summary of what I've seen in the way of FLoyd's flaws, and how no one boxer has been able to capitalize on all of them at one given time. :boxing:
Calzaghe can be compared to him. Never defeated and arguably fought opposition equal to May's resume.
Anyone can be beaten and I still believe Hatton had the best chance of beating May. Now that he's been dispatched it's hard to see him losing. I think Mosley would give him a good fight and Margarito would be VERY difficult but other than that, not many out there will touch him.
His career is a shame in some respects as in my opinion he could of been 1 of the best ever. There's still time for that but he needs to beat welters
That would be quite the uphill argument. May's resume far surpasses Cal's and May is better than Cal at everything Cal is good at except for punches thrown. This is coming from a Cal fan as well but that isn't the road to take.
