What? Floyd has already moved up from featherweight to a point where he is basically at his walking around weight. and dominated ww....he should move up and to challenge himself...doesn't have to gain more weight if he thinks it will hurt his chances

he could have stopped JMM anytime he wanted but didnt. dont confuse him not stopping JMM with him not being able to. he hurt the shit outo f JMM with that hook. and plenty other times in the fight. he just didnt go in for the kill toward the end he was pressing for a knock out and couldn't

although i think mayweather would win against pac... it won't be easy. those lunging left hooks and jabs just won't work against pacman. i don't know what kind of chin pacquiao has but i do think its good enough that mayweather can't knock him out. i still rather see mayweather fight paul williams than shane, cotto or pac. when you dominate your class you usually move up in weight not down....pussy. i don't doubt his boxing skill i think he's genius...just challenge it for once. after watching this fight...i actually think manny would have better tools than mayweather if only he had quality training when he was younger. I just don't see how Pac wins rounds against Mayweather. He's too smart to get hit by Pac a lot, and his ring generalship would carry him to victory. Not many saw Manny Ko'ing Hatton like how he did. I don't think many saw him beting Oscar the way he did (although I did think he would win, but not like that) He's got speed and power. His movement and legs are fast, and he has good upper body movement too. He's awkward to time and his shows come from weird angles. He now has got 2 hands to think about. He has a high work rate which always gives fits to someone very defensive and that pot shots. Manny may not beat Mayweather, but he has exactly the tools to do so. You never know in boxing, well a well matched fight that is. The truth is, underdogs rarely win if you look at a boxer without bias.

floyd did not face the real marquez in their. this is a case of floyds smart choices in opponents. you cant judge anythin in that fight. that was a cherrypicked fight to make him look like the greatest ever. before i give him that typ of props then he needs to face the real threats.

I really don't think so, Pacquiao would be moving in and out, fighting at a high tempo, he's fast, throws punches from awkward angles and he's a southpaw, that shoulder roll defense doesn't work as well against southpaws. This is what i'm talking about. People here are all day dreaming. Guys Pacquiao is not JMM. Not even close. Their style and the way they fight is damn different at all means. Floyd KOs Pac? WTF? What the hell these people thinking? Floyd can't even stop a slow JMM. Pac knocks Marquez 4 times in two bouts where he is in his natural weight.

Manny has an iron chin, if Mayweather couldn't finish Marquez (who got dropped 4 times over 2 fights by Pac) then he certainly isn't KO'ing Pac (who never went down once against Marquez). Pac has shown he competes at higher weights better than Marquez and looks explosive, he has carried his power up with him and his speed. I give Pac the best chance out of anybody in the division. I don't think so man. Floyd is too smart for Manny in the ring. I mean look what he did to a cerebral counter puncher who was supposed to present a difficult style for Floyd. How do you think Pacquiao will do when he opens up and trys to chase Floyd? pac has the better resume, he's greater than floyd floyd has more potential to be greater but he has to beat pac, cotto, williams or mosley to surpass pac if he beats one of those four he can retire with full respect and a great legacy how u figure that

I disagree, though I thinks it's'60/40 Floyd. Floyd has all these natural boxing advantages over PacMan, but Manny can match Floyd's'speed, something JMM couldn't. Also, depending on how the Cotto fight goes, he may carry power with. Let's not forget that Floyd is somewhat bothered by southpaws, and Manny is better than Chop Chop and Judah. Floyd could KO Manny, but he'll have to open up to do it, and Floyd doesn't like do that. If he does, he could get caught himself. So, if he does it, it's probably gonna come from a single punch that puts him on queer street.
