Floyd was 152 10 days out, so expect him to come in tonight about 150-151, with Marquez weighing probably 143-144. Smaller, older, slower, damn, if he's able to pull this one off ........ wow.
I guarantee Floyd will not weigh over 150 tonight. I have the feeling that he never intended to make 144, and figured giving up over a half million dollars was worth the advantage. I think he is solid at 146 and has been for some time now. I don't expect much change tonight.
Floyd is a fully-fledged welter these days and should be fighting WW instead of superfeatherweights.
I'm pretty sure Floyd gains some 6-8 lbs before fightnight. Not that we'll ever know for sure as the fight-night weights are unofficial anyway.
Yup.. Did u see the look on marquez's face after realizing floyd was 146?? Poor marquez he clearly didn't know about floyds cowardly act.

Yet Oscar had 17 pounds on him, and people still don't give him credit for that WIN.
Yep, totally fair.
Maybe because Oscar was old and past his prime? You know, like Marquez?

There were no unofficial weights for that fight so we dont know for sure.

I for one did give him credit against Oscar. For those people that didn't, their just pbf haters. You shouldn't read too much in it.
As for my comment before (giving him no credit for being 10lbs heavier fight night), you should also note that Marquez was given an 11th hr call to change his "144lbs maximum" contract to the NSAC to 147lbs (if he was given an earlier notice, then fair enough). So Mayweather got one benefit there and if on fight night, he also happens to be much bigger, Its cool that you think its fair, but I personally think its unfair (2x advantage) towards Marquez.
Floyd got the short end of the stick against Oscar - weight, ring size, glove size - and he didn't pull out. He sucked it up, took his biggest payday up to that moment, which was a lot less than his opponent, and put on a great performance. Why can't Marquez do the same?
Marquez will do the same. Don't let people make you think different
Well De La Hoya won a few rounds against Hopkins so to be honest i wouldnt bet on Floyd being able to do the same for a longer period and maybe loose out on a UD. By the way i cant stand Floyd im in no way a Floyd nuthugger, elite fighters take the logic out of moving up in weight, thats the truth look back through the past 130 years.
LMFAO, that's amazing. You had to be laughing when you typed that. The only way Floyd survives to even the 9th or 10th against Hopkins is if he throws like 5 punches a round and runs like a little girl.
Dude, I could not agree with you more. Poor Marquez is getting the short end of the shitstick on this one. He should pull out of the fight, and tell Mayweather to get phuked...hopefully by the IRS and without a paycheck to back his sorry no bill payin ass up. This reminds me of the Jose Luis Castillo fiasco, and how he phucked up a fight that was originally for the title.
Boxers that do this sort of sorry sh*t should have their licenses revoked for at least a year, so they can stop trying to get over on the system.

Exactly people are SOOO stupid its unbelievable.
i hope there fight night weight is somewhat close. if theres a difference of like 10lbs, i give no credit to mayweather.

floyd would get ktfo brutally if he were to fight hopkins.
Hopkins hasnt knocked a single person out for years and your saying a defense genius like floyd will be knocked unconcious? lol If oscar did what he did why could Floyd?
LMAO.
So Floyd vs. Hopkins at 175 lbs would be ok?
Stupid floydstan.

Weight isnt a factor when you have two of the best fighters of the past 20 years! How many more times.
LMAO.
