Sept. 19: Should I order the PPV or go to the movie theaters to watch?

Watch it at a friend's. I am. That's a good idea. Unfortunately most of my friend's live at home right now, I'm the one with my own place and the 40 inch LCD.

How do you know its sold out? The theater by my house it said it was sold out when I looked up the tickets online, I wasn't going to buy any just wanted to see how much they cost and if they were available.

Theaters, why waste this opportunity to watch your favourite sport on the biggest screen of them all? If I could I'd go to the Cinemas but they aint on over here :( Ugh, you're right. This is really a tough decision.

I'm just going to wait and watch it the week after. I don't put money in "Money's" pocket. Floyd's too much of a prick for me to give him any of my paycheck. Talented, yes, one of the most talented and gifted in the history of the sport, but I just can't stand the guy. Doesn't give a shit about the fans at all, and I simply ain't gonna give him a dime. It's a shame you can't choose who your PPV money goes to. If I could direct mine towards JMM, I'd buy this fight in a heartbeat.

I have about 3-4 friends that are watching the fight with me and we can't decide if we want to order the Mayweather-Marquez PPV or go to the movie theaters to watch it. This would be a no brainer (order the PPV) normally, but the theater I would go to watch it has a full bar in the theater. Decisions, decisions. What should I do? watch the ppv... pbf will need the help

$54.95 I think But even still, $12.50 X 10 = $125 between all of you. According to comcast it's $49.99. It's five dollars though. I actually only have 3-4 friends going so, $12.50 x 4 = 50 I think I'm leaning towards ordering it though.

12.50 is a steal for a PPV man. Ahhhhh I hope they continue to do this. Consider the fact that it's in a theater. Huge screen in HD. They are doing it because of Golden Boy's merger with AIG.

I would go to the theater but it's sold out and I have like 10 people coming over, I would go just for the experience, it's not everyday you get the chance to see Boxing at movie theater with an HD picture. How do you know its sold out?

If I wasn't going out of town for a friends birthday I would go to the theaters for sure. How much is a ticket going to be anyway? Definitely not 50 dollars. What I would do is get a few of those shot bottles and put them in my back pocket then buy a coke and get my drink on. It'd be interesting to see what kind of crowd goes. I don't know any big boxing fans. I'm assuming the theater will be full of mexicans. I'm pretty pissed I have to miss it. This happens every time there's a big fight. I swear it's JMM too. I went away the weekend of his fight with Casa, Diaz, and now Mayweather. And it was all the same group of friends.

If you have 10 friends, just order the PPV. The tickets are $18 each. Between 10 of you thats $200...the PPV is $60 Even if it were $10 to get in you're still spending $100 between 10 of you. Actually my theater said it's $12.50 each. That's why it's a tough call. Isn't the PPV $50?
