I recently read an article stating that cotto has received many gift decisions. the only two close fights were mosley and clottey.the shane fight was hard earned. i can understand the clottey fight but clottey didnt do enough and got inactive. so stop bitching. everyone gets close nods look at mayweather castillo1.
I've read numerous articles that were made after both fights. Cotto vs Mosley was CLOSE but CLEAR unanamous decision for Cotto. He said it in the post fight interview. Cotto vs Clottey was much closer IMO. I had it a draw and the KD won the fight for Cotto, 114-113. 116-111 is 8 rounds to 4 for Cotto. Over generous, but not complete robbery like Juan Diaz and Malignaggi. You score the close rounds for Cotto, you can find 8 for him. Clottey lost that fight more than Cotto won it, but he still lost.
Who ever thinks Cotto lost to Molsey is a ****ing idiot. Go watch the god damn fight again please!!! Tell me the rounds that Mosley won? Maka a case for him? I am willing to go over every freaking round of that fight and show you that Cotto won. Seen the fight at least 100 times and there is no way that Mosley won.
I've been reading these boards for a while, don't usually write much, but this Obama avatar dude must be the worst poster in this forum. Dude stop repeating yourself all the time and stop acting like you are objective when it comes to Cotto. Your hate for him is obvious, I can see through you.
Cotto deserved the win over Mosley, I had him up although I'd like to see a rematch.
I also had Cotto v Clottey at 113-114 in favor of Cotto.
Clottey could have won that if he was a bit more active.
i agree if you watch shane's face when the announce the decision he knew and gave a grin and nod like he agreed with the decision.
the grin and nod was because he knew he couldn't get the decision in MSG
the clottey score was a little pushing it i had cotto winning by one or two points.
cotto clearly beat clottey

unless its a KO win or an obvious one sided beating there are always going to be people bitching about decisions, cotto beat mosley, if some people dont think so well good for them and i hope they will never be judges in boxing later in life.
The Clottey fight was different, i do think cotto won, the fight was there for the taking by Clottey he just never threw punches the last 2 rounds and I think the only person Joshua can blame is himself. But I will agree that one scorecard was way too wide.
Cotto won does 2 fight, was a close fight but clear victory in the 2 fights w/ 2 great fighters ....
this is a robbery Juan Diaz W12 Paulie Malignaggi
Scores: 118-110, 116-112, 115-113
i find this whole gift decision thing with Cotto and Mosley funny. It was a clear victory for Cotto. The weird thing about that is after the fight you didnt even hear anyone say anything about a robbery..wasnt till after the Margarito fight it became a popular thing to say Cotto should of lost to Shane.

cotto beat clottey.
cotto got a decision over Mosley in MSG his home away from home
Could a really close fight be considered a robbery, if say, one of the judge's scorecard was way off?
No i wouldn't say that, to get robbed you got to get robbed of something (the win). If one scorecard is way of but the result of the fight dosen't get affected it can't be called a robbery IMO.
