an old past prime lennox lewis TKO'd him. yes he did. on a CUT. which in my opinion is plain stupid. Klitschko was ahead on points at the time of the stoppage. and 36 KOs out of 37 wins is probably the highest knockout rate in all of boxing today, so give the man some credit!

being ahead on the scorecards is not the same thing as schooling. Being 4-2 ahead on the scorecards after 6 rounds doesn't mean you are a certainty to win either.

I think Vitali would have beaten Lewis if he hadn't got stopped on the cut. But Americans are never going to give the Klitschkos the credit they deserve. But on the other hand if you had 2 6-7 athletic black fighters who were owning everybody they got in the ring with for years on end then you'd never hear the end of how great they were. I think if the current competition was better he would adjust and get better with the competition but because of the way it is, he doesn't really have to up his game.

He did beat everyone else so even more kudos for Lewis for the TKO win. He didn't look brilliant but he did win by TKO age 37. Yes he was a kick-boxer champ once.

vitali is seruly a good heavyweight, but i think vlad is much better, vitali has no defence as he shows us in the lewis fight, he would probably win it when he would take his hands up

vitali has all the tools to be a great HW, maybe even an ATG. hes a naturally big man, has great strength, turns up to fights in shape and on his day would be handful for any HW from history. allied to that he has a good jab, a thudding right hand, can fight at a good pace as well and has a chin that is like a cinderblock. but two things have conspired against vitali becoming an ATG: 1)vlad - because of his brother vitali will never be the unversally recognised no.1, and it also means the two best HW's in the world won't ever face each other 2) injuries - after the LL loss the stage was set for him to become his own champion, the boxing public saw vitali as a worthy successor to LL's throne but injuries meant he never really built on that momentum. btw vitali was not schooling LL at all
