Jones vs Lacy ...... My thoughts

If Lacy as got anything left then i guess now is the time to prove it. A defeat again surely will have him fighting off Tv for the remainder of his career The way it stands though i think the dude is Dun Look for Jones Jnr to finish off whats left.....

Roy should not lose to Lacy. He is still to fast, to skilled a boxer too be beat by Lacy. If Lacy dosen't manage too land some lucky punch Roy should dominate him, but you never know theese days...

Lacy is absolutely done.He will lose to Roy surely. Question is if by decision or KO.

....I love you man, but what a shitbag of a fight. I may not even watch this one if it was free. Well, of course I would watch, but you know what I mean. The fact that they can get anyone to buy this garbage is the really shocking part. Roy is absolute shit now and it appears that Lacy was always overrated. He got abused in the Taylor fight and it wasn't even close. The same Taylor who has been starched and bullied by everyone else he has been in the ring with lately. Lacy is nowhere near a top tier fighter and neither is Roy. Still, Roy has enough left to deal with Lacy easily. Thats my boy.....lol Well hell we can't all be Wlad fans and be lucky to have our favorite fighter crush everyone he fights..... For the record I have to say I'm more passionate about Dawson and Berto now than I am Lacy which gives me exciting favorite fighters to watch...... Bah... don't knock yourself, beats being a 'fair weather fan'. Lacy has a good chance against RJJ. After that, who knows? There is a quality selection of SMWs who might move up but Dawson and B-Hop aside the LHW division is less than impressive at the moment. And apart from Dawson, Lacy must be the youngest fighter in the top ten (B-Hop, RJJ, Woods, Tarver, Johnson... it's a fr*gging OAP club). Absolutely......And boy are there alot of them lurking in these woods.

Some of you that have been on this site for a longtime like myself know that I've always been a huge fan of Jeff Lacy. I'll be the first to admit that it appears as though Calzaghe took his soul from him, however he did have a devastating injury in his next fight and has had a long hard road back.....Well hell he's not really even back and may never be but nonetheless does have a big fight with a big name even though it's an old and IMO nearly shot Roy Jones. Jones IMO is crazy and his claims of being P4P still are bullshit but he is very confident and has boxed well against some very good fighters the past few years. I'm getting a feeling and many of you will think I'm crazy that Jones is going to come into this fight over confident and looking past Jeff Lacy.....I feel this will spell doom. If he doesn't he easily outbox Lacy and win a decision and possibly a late stoppage.....but I hope it's the latter and Lacy comes to fight and lands the right punches to put Jones to rest.
