I've heard a lot of pinoys saying that puertorico has produced nothing but paper champs, i want the honest opinion of what would you think happens in a Prime 147 Tito against Manny Pacquiao. Who wins and how?
Listen when Pac retires and fans are in here ten years from now. They will be comparing Pac with all the new great fighters. Pac is already a living, active, legend. But the weight that most likely they will compare him at will be 125-130, where he earned his legends status. Believe me, Pac will be beating most of the newbie greats.
The one thing I think prevents that from happening is as he's become a complete boxer and settles in his prime, he's moving up. This makes comparisons for his prime vs others primes in 135+ more natural. So far 135 - 140 Pac has been the most skilled.
the pinoys that say that have probably never stepped foot in their homeland and are just raised here in the states where there is always racial shit going on...
I have been to the phils and everybody that I talked to about boxing always spoke well Puerto Rican boxers. In fact a taxi driver just stared at me for a minute and asked me where I was from and I told him Im from Puerto Rico and the FIRST thing out of his mouth was that Bennitez was his favorite fighter. Just one example of many.
It boils down to racist shit really.
Your right, most of my family love Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters, they share our pride and heart. I think Pac has caused some rivalry as he's a major source of pride for us and he (and the fans) are shit on alot by Ricans here in the US. Hell, Pinoys get flamed for saying they think Cotto (today's most popular Rican) loses to Pac, imagine if all your country ever had was Cotto. PR has pride that is spread over generations of top level fighters...we have one and put all our pride in him.

The best fantasy matchups for Pac are from 140 and under. Putting him up against 147/Prime Tito is a bit absurd but I get the point if it is a test to see how far the "Greatness" of Pac is and his delusional fans which shouldn't be mistaken for his fans in general.
That said, no way Roach allows Pac to step into the ring with a Prime Tito unless Tito is willing to chop off his left-arm.
From 140 and under, Pac's a hellova fighter and some good discussions on how he would do against fighters of those weight-classes.

Much respect for Pac...But even at 140 Tito Koed like 95% of his opponents...Like I said if JMM could buckle Pac at 125 and almost KO him...then Trinidad would decapitate him... Look at JMM vs. PAc Highlights...JMM was catching Pac with straight Rights and left hooks.....If you know Tito those were his two killer punches and specialty finishers.
:boxing:
Ok, but I think 140 would have been a more fair and realistic comparison.

Why compare Tito with Pac at 147 when both had already fought at 140??? Do you tend to make Pac lose in comparison? At 140, Pac will pulverize Tito, prime or not.
I cant believe pac is that close in votes to Tito:?!:
I hope Cotto smashes Pac bad to stop that greedy little hype job. Pac is good but damn peaple go over board with him.
Manny "catchweight" Pacquiao Has a stonger punch than Pavlik and GOD! :bsflag:
Jotto fans, in boxing size is irrelevant compared to boxing skills and ability. Have you ever heard the cliche "The bigger they are, the harder they fall." Cotto will need more than a knee pad during fight night, I would advice him to wear a helmet to make sure he comes alive and well after the fight.
