Say Margarito rematches Cintron and Cotto....

I dont believe he had used it before. Nothing adds up to him using it prior to Mosley. He beat Cintron 2x already. Once, before Paul Willaims (which is what all the doubters believe he began cheating), and stopped Cintron in 5. Then he faught Cintron again after Paul Williams and stopped him in 6. If he was using plaster after Paul Williams dont you believe Cintron would have been stopped earlier than 5? Then the Cotto fight. People make a big deal ONLY because it was Cotto's first loss. Whatever, Cotto can get a rematch and the SAME exact thing will happen. Cotto just doesn't do well against pressure and guys with incredible chins. So, to me, beating Cintron and Cotto again doesn't do anything for me. I have faith in the dude. Beating Cotto again will just put him back on top quick.

I been sayin all along that til proof surfaces, I suspect, but won't trash him for cheatin in any fights past the SSM fight. Based on styles, Marg was all wrong for Cotto anyway. But that's the only other fight anybody gives a shit about, so that's the fight that needs a rematch ASAP. It won't silence Cotto's stans if he won again, but it'd be enuf to show he didn't need to do dirt to win. To hell wit Cintron. And even if he did KO both these guys in rematches, I'd still never root for him again. Once is too many times for some foul shit like that. Fukk Marg.

How come if margaritto cheated his entire career, he just now got caught? is there that many trainers that don't care enough about their fighters to check the wraps, possibly? I think if margs fights cintron, he wins, if he fights cotto he loses, either way they'll always be a ? mark on all his fights, doesn't matter, if you've cheated once, people will speculate that you always have cheated, best not to cheat i guess. If he does come back and beats cintron again and cotto again, I'd have to ask, why cheat in the first place?

Upon his return, I'm sure they'll just line him up with Mexican tomato cans (most of them probably bribed and extorted) so that he looks good. Then he'll start making "demands" to face an old Mosley again, and so on. Very predictable.

IF Margarito comes back and beats Cotto or Cintron or both..... Everyone will forget because that's what winning will do. No matter what his detractors say, he will have reedemed himself.

I agree with your last paragraph completely. Its just that I don't see Cintron or Cotto as ruined. Cintron won his last fight against someone who was compared to Tony. Cotto, while suffering a nasty ass cut, still found a way to survive 9 rounds even taking some big shots in the process and never went down. Should Cotto and Cintron continue to win, and Margarito wins some fights in convincing fashion, these potential matchups are going to be very, very interesting. The physical and psychological damage has already been done IMO. Let's see what Plasterito is about once he steps back in the ring. I say with out his plaster, he wont get past B level fighters.

Honestly, I think Tony destroyed both fighters with his plaster. There is no bigger rivalry than Mexico vs Puerto Rico and I believe with out a shadow of a doubt, for the sake of PRIDE, that Tony used plaster in his bouts against both. Rumors have it that Tony was even using PLASTER on his sparring partners. If in fact Tony was so heavy handed, why did he feel the need to use them against an OLD Shane Mosley? We shall see soon enough if Tony's power still shows up in the future bouts. If he no longer knocks people out the way he was before he was caught, there will be more of that suspicion hanging over his head and it will be pretty hard to deny it later. Let's just wait and see. He still beats both badly. Cotto will be a better fight. But he will be reminded of that night if things dont go his way....

if there was so indication of plaster or anything of that sort before than i don't see why not. I can undersand if the fighters came out complaining but i have yet to hear anything...which makes me think they people are giving MArgarito more shit than he really deserves...

give the mullet a real bad purse divide and make the fights happen again. give cintron and cotto both a 70 / 30 purse split and make the fights and go from there.
