Maybe not every fighter. It would land diferently on every fighter. Ortiz just happen to go straight after a hurt animal, and we now where that usually ends. Felt bad for Ortiz but when he quit I was a bit dissapointed. We'll see if he dares step in the ring again.
Hattons punch resistance is awful now, Maidana would take him out if he landed. The Hatton that fought and took Tszyu and Urangos punches would have taken Maidanas but Hattons wars and his two KO losses have ground his chin down.
He can def crack. He has decent speed, but i'm saying he's too slow to catch Hatton. Hatton's head movement and footwork are being underrated because he just got KTFO by Flash Jr in Pacquiao and then Mayweather having sniper like accuracy made Hatton look stupid.
If Maidana catches Hatton, hell yeah he can go down but i'm just saying Pacquiao and Mayweather made it look easier than it really is to catch him, which makes people think that now everyone can do the same.
i dunno man, ricky hatton aint all that when it comes to defense even tho he has pretty good footwork. collazo and lazcano caught him and a few others have caught him as well, they just didnt have that crack behind their punches to put him down for good.
lol itd be funny as hell to hear what people had to say afterwords.
"there is no shame in coming up short against the best...again"
there is no shame is there? wot u on about
Maidana is too slow to KO Hatton. Let's not go crazy now and think every fighter is Pacquiao and Mayweather. Maidana could have KO'ed Torres, if Torres can't catch him frist that is, imo.
maidana is no margarito yo. i dont know how many maidana fight you have seen but let me tell you he has decent speed and most of all...he can crack.
hatton post-mayweather for sure
