there are a few top prospects in my eyes...hard to rank em though...and they might not be the 5 BEST but they deserve to get attention...guys like gamboa (unreal speed...if he gets his defense in order he can go far), james kirkland (the viciousness of a minature mike tyson...he's got a lotta strength but hasnt been tested too much...) victor ortiz (a good young fighter overall)...andre ward...and andre berto (he's still a prospect in my eyes...just cuz he has the title doesnt mean he went from the kid to the man)...
those are just a few im interested in at the moment.
In no exact order.
1.Demetrius Andrade
2.Tavoris Cloud
3.Daniel Jacobs
4.Devin Alexander
5.Austin Trout
Is there anyone that isn't black that impresses you?
D. Alexander, Lara, Linares, probably my top 3
I see too many flaws in Rigondeaux at his advanced age. He could be a star but I think he's a little too old. V. Ortiz also. He seems to have star quality but I think his defense is suspect as well as his chin. I think he's gonna be exposed but will likely grab a belt or two somewhere down the line. Belts are overrated these days.
In the heavyweight division:

I would have included Denis Boytsov, but I think he graduated from prospect to contender recently.
Just checked these out... Good research!
Apart from Hamer, they're all very big heavies..
Maybe, the future is rosey, after all..
Note, you've got Helenius top of the tree.. He appears to have been in with the better company.. And he's Finnish.. That's unusual in itself...
