1) Andre Berto: Elite or not Elite? Which one of the elite WW's would you give him the best chance against and why?
2) Jean Pascal Vs Chad Dawson: How much of a chance does pascal have and why/why not?
3) David Haye vs W. Klitschko: Have we underestimated the speed of Wladmir, and overrated haye's chances of being able to get inside his jab?
4) Miguel Cotto: Are we all agreed that he isn't the same fighter since his loss to Margarito? Is the punishment beginning to take its toll?
5) Pacquiao: Has anyone noticed how he is getting matched with Left handed fighter in a orthodox stance/ fighter who's power punch is the left?

1.Andre Berto is not elite, he has a lot to prove, although he is capable of being elite.
2.Pascal has a good chance, especially if Dawson isn't motivated like he was against Antonio Tarver in the rematch. But if Dawson gives it all at 110% I give Pascal very little chance.
3.Yes, Haye sucks he would of gotten knocked out.
4.No, Miguel Cotto got a huge cut on his eye which is why he struggled badly against Clottey. Cotto would of won more convincingly, had he not suffered a cut.
5.What?
1 Berto ain't beatin SSM, Cotto, Mr boat buyer, or Clottey imo. He's good, but not truly elite til he at least fights 1 of these guys. I give him the best chance wit Cotto, cuz he might be able to hurt him.
2 I give Pascal a decent chance, cuz he'll bring pressure to Dawson that Dawson won't like. I favor Dawson to win, but Pascal is live.
3 Cats want Wlad to lose so bad they believe he will lose against Haye. I doubt that shit. Wlad by KO.
4 I agree Cotto didn't look gr8 against Clottey, but that's hardly a crime. I'll reserve judgment til I see his next fight wit a good opponent.
5 Yep. But I think at 147 it's Cotto's size period, not 1 punch in his arsenal that tells the story.
Fight is not going to happen, the WBC immediately ordered Pascal to fight his mandatory, after that Diaconu immediately activated the rematch clause. So Pascal is already scheduled for two fights.
.

Yeah, but even at 147 manny has a serious chance, Cotto needs to get set to get off his best punches, thus he is at his best when his opponent is standing in front of him or cornered at this is what allows him to get leverage on those hooks. I think roach Manny might not be stationary long enough for cotto to get the leverage he needs in those shots. If he cant corner manny or stop him moving, he's in for a long night. His best chance is to pin him down with the jab, because size matters when you actually land solid punches, if you dont, the weight advantage doesnt mean as much.

Iv'e edited this one in.
5) Pacquiao: Has anyone noticed how he is getting matched with Left handed fighter in a orthodox stance/ fighter who's power punch is the left?
De La Hoya: Left hander converted to orthodox.
Hatton: Orthodox stance but left hand is his power punch.
Cotto: Left hander converted to orthodox.
Smart matching making there by the boy roach.
Im a huge Cotto fan, but he doesn't look better than he did before Margs. Maybe the cut had some bearing, but it just seems like he's missing something. He seems more hesitant. His confidence just doesn't seem the same as it was before Margarito. Jmo.
I agree actually, im open to all points of view on this one, but he was a killing machine before that fight and I think he actually believe that pretty much no man could beat him (other than mayweather who I still think would UD him before margarito loss), now he seems a bit more wary, I think he might be worried about gassing out like he did against Margarito. His biggest mistake in that fight was trying to hurt him with bombs, he should have done a calzaghe and slapped his way to a UD and saved his energy.
4. I think Cotto might have lost something for me in the ring after Margarito, mentally I dont think he is the same fighter now he knows it is possible for him to lose. He didnt look great against Jennings, but fought well against Clottey. I think its more mental then anything, but it just seems he has lost a little killer instinct, but then again, it could be that his last big fights have been against big fighters with a solid chin.
Exactly my feelings. He might need a couple more confidence builder before getting back in with the elite.
4 cotto is a better fighter then before!

1. I don't think Berto is elite. He backhands his jab, which isnt really weapon in my opinion, its just something he uses to create distance for the right hand. A smart boxer who knows how to step away from his right hand and isolate his jab will give him serious problems. He's athletic and has quick hands but he is f.uckin horrible on the inside cos he doesnt know how to protect himself, weak to the body as well I believe as shown against collazo. If he had to fight one elite fighter, I'd actually throw him in there against Shane Mosley, for the simple fact he's old, comes in hands down and berto might be able to land the right hand and escape for long enough to get a decision. Any fight with cotto/ clottey ends up with him being jabbed to the ropes and hooked to the body.
2. Pascal is awkward and this makes for a great fight to watch. Dawson isnt the type of fighter to walk Pascal down ala Froch and Diaconu, so Pascal may have his moments, the fight depends on how long it will take Dawson to time Pascal as he lunges in recklessly with lead rights, if pascal can get in and out then he has a chance, if dawson backs him up with a jab and counters him lunging in, pascals in trouble. I actually think this could be a good fight for the fans.
3. Wlad's speed is seriously underestimated. After re watching some Klitschko its pretty obvious Haye would most likely get knocked out badly, he is constantly off balance when throwing shots and he comes in with his jab hand by his waist which is the hand against Klitschko's right hand, you know the rest.
