Floyd fans only think he can't lose because of his 0

Mayweather is a great boxer, and I would fancy him to beat any of the welterweights today. The thing is, he runs from them because he's scared to lose his precious '0'. But if he fought Cotto, Pacquiao, Williams, Mosely and Clottey and won 3 and lost 2, he would be regarded as a better fighter for taking on the best. Despite the losses, he would be thought of as the best fighter of his generation for his skills and counter-punching. Although he already probably is (the best), he needs to prove it and shut his critics up.

Mr boat buyer's toughest test comes from SSM imo, and I favor him to win that fight by UD. Not that I expect that fight to ever happen. I'm pretty sure he's retirin unbeaten.

Mayweather is a very good boxer, you should all be proud to have such a skillfull fighter at this time.

Mayweather was too fast...and slick..and to hard to hit for wild ass Duran..he boxes his head off his shoulders. Leonard has the size in his favor...but Floyd would beat him. Pass that weed son!

you mis understood me, yes they were good fighters - but Corrales is so slow of foot i'm pretty sure he knew before hand how easily he could out run him. Castillo gave him hell so that get's a pass. Yea Floyd was quicker on his feet but people thought Diego's power and pressure would be a factor...

Corrales and Castillo were pretty good fighters along with Hernandez. I don't think they were tailor-made for him. Corrales was a big threat. Duran would go through Floyd's resume undefeated though and I do think he'd beat Floyd...a KO is debatable tho you mis understood me, yes they were good fighters - but Corrales is so slow of foot i'm pretty sure he knew before hand how easily he could out run him. I understand what you are saying... and I can see a fighters talent regardless of who he has fought... but it's hard to see leonard fight these TOP fighters in their prime... and beat them, and Floyd beat Hatton(still a good win).. and a SD win over an Oscar.. and then think...Oh Floyd would BEAT THEIR ASS.... I dont think that's solid reasoning. But i can still look at the fighter just based on his activity in the ring.. I know Floyd is ON their level, but whether he can beat them is a different story. Doubts are fair, these are all great fighters so thinking Floyd will lose is pretty much fine. I never said Floyd woud beat anyones ass on that list, he could win but put an ass whipping on these guys that would be saying a lot (something I am not saying, nor will I likely ever say). I would not put Floyd as the favorite in any of these fights, Duran I consider 50/50 but that is a view I don't expect people to really share with me. The rest of them would all be favorites to beat Floyd for sure. I think Floyd can win, how likely he is to win is completely up for debate. Also Floyd-Oscar being a split decison come on now, but that just proves the point that eventually Floyd will lose if he keeps on fighting because eventually the judges will not see the fight his way.

There is no reasonable way to justify doing so. Floyd has never beaten anybody near as good as those guys, while they have all beaten elite all time fighters. I certainly think that Floyd could lose to Duran and Hearns depending on where the fight really took place (Floyd would have to avoid the inside against Duran and the outside against Hearns), I really do not see what Floyd would do with Leonard but if he could keep Leonard honest who knows in a 12 round fight all you need to do is win seven of them. I love Tommy..but Floyd would beat him...Hearns was easy to hit and had a suspect chin... How many right hands have you seen Floyd hit with??? Right...hed make that punch a non factor. Hagler doesnt count..Floyd aint been to 160. It's a fantasy match up... an opinion topic. It's hard not to look at a fighter who has faced and beaten better competition and not favor them over the fighter you are comparing him with. clearly better than trinidad? trinidad had a split decision against prime oscar... didn't floyd had a split against old oscar? trinidad is one of the best welterweights of all time. clearly better than floyd at 147 I don't think so...his best win was given to him...I'm not saying he wasn't a very good fighter though

Doesnt matter styles makes fights......... Duran and Hagler dont fight shit like Floyd. Floyd Mayweather would give Hearns hell and this is coming from Tommys biggest fan.... Its a bad matchup....... the mistake you guys make is that you think a diffensive fighter is simply much better then a pressure fighter simply because he is a defensive fighter. being deffensive doesn't at ALL make you a smarter fighter or a better one. it takes as much skill if not more to be a pressure fighter and not get hit then it does to box around the ring and not get hit. I could say the same about Mayweather in fact.. he fights nothing like Duran or Hagler. that isn't a good thing or a bad thing.. it's just a completely different style.

He fought Leonard and Leonard is a far much better fighter all around then Mayweather. He fought Ray Leonard, which is a better fighter then any fighter Floyd has ever fought. Matter of fact Duran, Hagler, and Leonard are all better then any opponent Floyd has faced... I'm talking about these two posts, Sin... :lol1:
