anyone else think clottey made a total show of himself by diving in round 5.
he was clearly just looking to get a point takin of cotto!!!
there was never anything wrong with his knee!!! joker!!!
ok, i rewatched the fight again, (this is getting monotonous), and both fighters made mistakes. I did see Cotto's hand on Clottey's back as he was free-falling to the canvas, but to say that Cotto made him hit the canvas any harder than a free fall and that's idiotic. I am trying to avoid name calling, but i will defend myself. Clottey put on a better performance than Brad Pitt. All his whining and complaining made me lose SOME respect for Clottey, but i still say he's a very good boxer and a formidable opponent to anybody.
And to say in big bold letters that Cotto's the dirtiest fighter in boxing period is wrong. You have very selective vision. Cotto Pulled that rabbit punch and if you look at his face, he's like, oh, shit". Look at his mouth, you can almost see him say it! Also you say Cotto twisted Clotteys ligements, like that's exactly what he intended...lol.
Oh, i just looked at your sig and saw your vid...you are just a 16 year old street mentallity rapper. I'm not feeding into your teenage hormones raging. I don't know who's more pissed...you or Clottey. but your sig doesn't make you look very credible. Same goes for your ludicrous statements.
hey handpseed303...do u know how to mul.quote??
cotto can teach u...
lmao
if you reply like he is, you get more post.
cotto can also show you how to quit under pressure.
clottey jumped up and put his arm behind cotto's head, it looked like he was going for a headlock and cotto doesn't play that shit so he shook him off.. clottey was off balance and fell. not cotto's fault.
I agree.. that headbutt was not accidental clottey lunged in head first and it looks like he did it on purpose.
:wtf1: cotto took his arm and slammed him down, if you deny that your an idiot. The headbutt was accidental, they were both throwing punches and clottey came in a lil w/ his head and cotto came out w/ a cut, its boxing that
shitt happens all the time

I replayed the fight, and Cotto shook him off, and Clottey did a freefall to the canvas, then giving Brad Pitt reason to worry... i think the headbutt was accidental, but inevitable cuz he leads with that huge thing. He has a history for headbutting. One Cotto low blow hit the beltline. Most body punchers are prone to hitting a bit low of their target.
Cotto pulled his punch in the heat of the moment once he saw Clottey had turned around. Clottey complained and whined all night, yet Cotto had the gaping bloody wound pouring blood in his eye, blinding him, yet he didn't complain about that.
I don't understand why Clottey did so much complaining, i think he's a very good boxer. Just throw some punches* and keep the head up when coming in, and quit with the acting. /*During later rounds.
That's the truth right there.

The low blow was no question accidental. Clottey's best combination of the fight started with a low blow. He had reason to complain about the throw down more than anything. The punch to the back fo the head also looked more accidental to me.
Like I said before, Cotto definitely threw Clottey on purpose. Whether or not he meant to plant him ont he canvas is up for debate, but it's easy to see Clottey lunges in and grabbed Cotto's head and Miguel threw him off out of frustration.

Yeah, he is quite the acter. If he had Zab's mouth it would have been priceless.
dude went from being very active to sittin on the ropes gettin lit up for a couple minutes, he also went from being able to plant and throw to slipping all over the ring for the rest of the fight...I think he was acting at the end with getting hit in the back of the head, but I think the knee injury was legit.
By clearly trying to get points take from Cotto on several occasions, he was taking bit shots to the head but as soon as Cotto taps the back of his head he is in agony.
Cotto did several(im sorry, I was saying what the guy I quoted said. Cotto did a few suspect things, not several) suspect things in that fight...What fight did you watch? they clash heads, and everybody says Clottey did that on purpose.
Everytime Clottey looked at the ref, he had a legit reason(bodyslam, rabbit punch, low blow).

I saw Cotto throwing Clottey off of him like he was doing the whole fight. The difference, he didn't know Clottey's feet were off of the ground. Everytime Clottey tried to clinch Cotto threw him off of him.
The push was intentional. I don't think it was intentional for himt o lift him off of the ground and slam him to the canvas. But I guess we'll never know. Either way, Clottey overreacted like he does in all of his fights.
Do I belive he over reacted>Yes!!! Do I belive he hurt his leg>Yes!!!
Was he thrown to the ground>Yes!!!
Should a point have been taken>NO!!!
