Is cotto shot???

i really hope not but he didnt look too good saturday I was really nervous or is clottey really just that good.I hope cotto beats pacman for the fact that i am a cotto fan not a cotto ball hugger but sometimes i think margarito may have dented his will a little mabey even him overall ass a fighter what do you gus think he should get passed pacman if its at 147 he better not do some catch weight shit cuz he wiil probably drain himself and pay for it like ol delahoya......im obviosly a boxing fan but as bad as i want to see the fight i want to see it done correctly at 147 that is not 144 or 143 we all know cotto had problems making weight at 140.i just hope we havent seen the best of cotto.

He was just really never that good. Who...Cotto with a "technically" perfect record or Clottey, a dam good boxer who would give anybody a hard time. They are both very good boxers. Cotto's left hook is very formidable weapon.

Well, you know what I mean. Cotto was nicely brought up but he's never really backed down from a fight, his record speaks for itself lately. But that power and aggressiveness he showed in the past was nowhere near present against Clottey. He looked slow, off balance and fought scared, he will never get rid of the daemons of the Margarito fight. remember he also has a new trainer so thats a little distraction in itself

we'll see. "good" camp with lots of drama, recent loss to margo and we all know how devastating that loss was. i think it had more to do with his camp then anything. he wasn't in as good of shape this time around and i think that had a large effect on the clottey fight.

the guy beat a world class fighter with a reat defence and better chin with only one eye. You cant expect him to look quality doing it. If cotto hadnt got cut then he would a dominated clottey and won a very very wide ud. I hope im right and he isnt shot though. did he dominate in the rds b4 the cut? Didn't think so!

He might not be completely shot but he ain't the killer he once was prior to Tony. This is as far as Miguel Cotto will peak at, it's all downhill from now on, mark my words. He never was a killer! Like margie, hatton, others with a following; its just his fans that create that illusion. An "elite" has great stamina, doesn't need any advantages i.e. holding, plaster, size advantages. Also a killer wouldn't get hit with the same damn punch 100 times per fight! I'm just saying.

yea thats what i thought as well the guy keeps going in after all the top ww he needs a break or a tune up some where espicilly with his new tranier and all. He got the tune up in Jennings fight. I do agree he leaves these matches battered and bruised no wonder Pac man is so eager .

I thought about this too yesterday. Maybe he aint 100% of what he was before Margarito? I'dont know. Maybe he just had a bad night against a top level fighter? I belive Pac thinks his not on the top of his game, otherwise he wouldn't be so eager for the fight, or would he? I think if Cotto fight Pac like he did Clottley he will loose. I thought Pacs resilence would be tested against Hatton, maybe against Cotto.

Which'll be a shame. Whoever he gets in the ring with is bound to cut him up if they land, or if heads clash (which they inevitably will sometimes when you've got 2 guys who tuck their chins in). Not unheard of, eh. Look at Bowe - after the Holyfield trilogy, he was punch drunk as hell in his mid/late 20s. The Golota wars just iced him.or when you have a south paw in like pacman cuase of course cotto is a right handed fighter which is common to have head clashes

Clottey is a great fighter Ts, with a tight defence.Imagine trying to beat him wit 1 eye homey alot of people with a gash like that would have turned the other cheek and let the doctor stop da fight.Cotto's not shot Just yet,everybodys been free fallin ever since lazt saturday. It waznt Cottos best preformance I agree,but He aint done yet. People seem to be 4 gettin he beat Cq,Judah,and Mosley,I would like to see Pacquiao-Cotto only if its @ 147. I'd favor cotto yup!i agree great post .....only at 147 i hope he dosent fall for any bullshit they try to offer.
