It's a very close fight and the winner was the guy with the knockdown, just like the Cotto/Clottey fight. In the end, the judges gave it to Pacquiao. It could have gone either way, but it went to Pac, end of story.
he was knocked down by a nice left hook, and almost went down immediately after. he had a little help from the ropes and the round was at an end. Overall, Marquez outboxed Pac for more rounds, just like he did in the first match, but it was Manny's power lefts that edged him to a victory. i would have been cool with another draw. i feel Marquez won the last two rounds. best true match-up in boxing at the moment.
whoever you're a bigger fan of, is the side that you would lean towards. I respect Marquez for fighting the best @ lightweight before testing himself above 140, but i can't deny Manny's power and that if a third match was to happen, that he wouldn't score a KD against JMM within 5 rnds. either man can win, but i think just as it seems likely that Pac will score a KD, it's just as likely to assume JMM wins more rounds and lands more punches.
I'm sorry, Margarito/Clottey/Mosley hit wayyyy harder than Pacman. I just finished watching highlights of JMM v.Pacman 1 & 2 and Pacman v. Hatton and is everybody high thinking that Cotto won't hurt this guy in a exchange. Clottey hits harder.
Get off this shit already. Close fight, Pac has the lone KD, so he won by a point. Just like Saturday. Will cats ever get sick of bitchin about this fight?
