Manny and Arum will sit down and pick an opponent for October 17th next week

Arum said that Pacquiao, who is scheduled to leave for Los Angeles later this week, is set to arrive Wednesday in New York, where they would discuss the possibilities for an Oct. 17 fight and his likely opponents. “I have canvassed everybody, I’ve seen what everybody is proposing and I will sit with Manny and discuss it with him. There’s Cotto, there’s Mosley and Valero, but if he wants to wait for Mayweather Jr., it’s up to him.”, Arum added.

it'll be shane at a catchweight. pac has a better shot vs an older more flat footed mosley now than he does vs. cotto. this would ofcourse also force floyd's hand to fight cotto which arum would love. just makes all the sense. mosley is a very winnable fight for pac. he's 38 and i dont care about his last couple performances he's been in with slow punching bags. pac's a diff beast and shane's previous fights don't really indicate anything for this fight. arum gets megafights for both pac & cotto this way.

That's really nice of Arum to just take a big steamy shit on Clottey like that. Even though I'm not particularly a big fan of Clottey, I view that as totally unfair. Clottey needs to break Cotto's ass in half to win the fight.

Its either Shane, Floyd, or Miguel...Valero shouldn't be in the discussion... I don't think Pac beats any of those 3...maybe Shane cuz he's not what he used to be...Cotto outboxed and beat him already. Mayweather makes the most $en$e...
