The champion Angulo's team was planning on setting him up against I read somewhere. Maybe because he seemed most vulnerable or easiest of belt holders to take down despite his mandatory status to Martinez, Dzinziruk/Williams. Who wins the fight w/ Cintron and Spinks? Does Cory keep revert back to boxing or does he brawl with a puncher like Kermit.
Corey Spinks was outboxed, and really fell victim to Latimore's workrate in the first part of their fight. I'm no fan of Kermit's but he's an entertaining fighter, and I believe that Spinks can look forward to being knocked out by him... should this fight happen. Spinks has nothing 'special'. As such, I expect nothing special from him. And regarding my previous statement about being no fan of Kermit's... I'm not so sure after saturday, I can see myself liking this guy further down the road.
the same way with KC, depends which one shows up. cuz i tought angulo was gonna whoop him, counting with a Martinez performance. but he really showed his box skills if he does the same with spinks he will get a ud or maybe a ko...will see. :boxing:
I would have to go with Cintron on this one. Spinks latest performance was not great.
Yeah he got KD in the 1st, but he still has more skills than Angulo and I can't imagine him trying to trade w/ Cintron
Spinks would take a boring ass UD. But Cintron got my respect back yesterday, and I'd luv to see him KO Spinks' boring ass.
Really? He won all of your respect back.
Spinks UD or Cintron KO. Depends on which Spinks turns up, if it's classic Spinks that beat Mayorga then Spinks takes it easy to a decision. If its the one that went to war with Latimore then Cintron may catch him and put his lights out.
I'd be pulling for a Spinks UD, I like Spinks for some reason...
This fight depends on which Spinks shows up. He stood there and went to war w/ Latimore but I'm not sure if he is as big puncher as Cintron. And how does Kermit look trying to box an opponent who isn't as slow as Angulo? He has improved but would he go back to looking awkward like against Martinez?
Cintron did something odd yesterday that most fighters can't do. He threw over 1,000 punches which is rare for fighters. But he did look tired so maybe it took alot out of him throwing that many punches but then again he did have someone who was punching back angulo which could have caused him to be tired in the last couple of rounds of the fight.
