In terms of sticking to a gameplan David Haye post Thompson is one of the best at the moment. Him and Adam Booth plan their fights perfectly, they predicted Haye would be knocked down in the Mormeck fight and trained for this.

Not to mention Doctorates from Soviet universities are roughly the equivalent of a high school GED in the US. Talk about degrees not worth the paper they're written on.

dont badmouth the soviets like that, man
Vitali is the biggest dummy inside the ring that Ive ever seen.
He's winning against Byrd with only a few rounds left to go and decides to throw in the towel because his arm hurts. Roy Jones and Mayweather were both in similar to worse situations, and they endured long enough to win a decision. That was just a dumb move by Vitali.
Vitali also lost to a 37 year old shot Lennox Lewis. Vitali was younger, taller, stronger, harder to hit, and in better shape yet still managed to lose. The fact that Vitali is a monumental idiot is the reason he lost.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the other names, but Klitsko really is more of a boxer puncher, and has a bruisers style.

I know you don't wanna hear it, but Calzaghe should be on that list somewhere.
In terms of adjusting to his opponets during a fight, Calzaghe doesn't have to. Calzaghe's plan is simply...throw punches in volume and let his opponet adjust to him. So far it has worked.
