These 2 boxers talked shit and back it, many hate them, but history remembers them as greats, it took 40 years for the next "Cassius Clay" to appear, it will take another 40 years for the next pretty boy.Pay homage to greatness of both.:boxing:
i was about to agree with the TS until he said floyd backs it up. real talk i was a floyd fan until my eyes opened on him. floyd is a beast but he aint a monster like ali.
i one of floyds biggest fans but there is no way...NO WAY you should even compare their styles of trash talking. Ali had style, swagger, and usually did it all with a smile on his face. Floyd just talks shit...
I bet PBF reminds Mohammad of how good he was.You can see it in the twinkle in his eyes. These 2 greats have almost the same career and greatness. Those who disagree are either hateful, blind or ignorant of boxing history.
All I could do is just laugh on how stupid that sounds "twinkle in his eyes" :haha::no::footinmou
Winning is winning. I bet you guys would commit mass suicide once PBF detroys the *** from south of the border
1) Yes. Winnning is winning. That's not the thread topic though is it?? It's about swagger. Muhammad Ali had swagger. Floyd contradicts himself almost as much as george bush and looks like he's going to cry trying to defend his claims.
2)Who in the right mind actually expects Marquez to win??
lol Floyd has swagger? I always thought he was kind of a clown, a phoney. You need choose em more wisely..
So "el FAGgita" Marquez has more swagger than Money?lol:bling1:
Agreed 100%, We might never see anyone who comes close to Ali anymore, He was just too smart and witty for any kind of boxer in these day and age.
The man was even too smart for Journalist with master degrees, And for a man who had difficulties to read thats amazing.
Exactly. I don't think we'll ever see another with the same charismatic persona that Ali had, nor the public face. Oscar had a great public face but lacked the charisma to go with it sadly.
you are just utterly retarded if you believe that.
A joe fan talking about being ignorant? you sure mate?
Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali told you what round he was gon knock out his opponent and how he was gon knock him out....and he'd go out and do it exactly as he predicted.
Floyd promises wars and knockouts and ends up backtracking and potshotting his way to the cards.
Not even a fair comparison.

I agree, Floyd was a great heavy weight
:smashfrea
you are just hopelesly ignorant.:werd:

While Mayweather is a great fighter, one thing he is definitely not, is a great trash-talking, 'swaggering', witty self-promoter like Ali.
Mayweather comes across as nothing more than a dullard braggart that is quite obviously fake in his 'tough guy' trash talking persona. If you find it in any way, shape or form amusing or cool and think he does it well, then you really don't understand what even made Ali so great.
Mayweather is just not articulate, witty or smart enough to pull it off. He reminds me of Judah and they both just seem like a couple of young, desperately wannabee, gangster homeboys.
So, yes there will be many more, and much better, fighters with the ... errr ... 'swagger' of Mayweather. In all honesty, he really doesn't have any. None that compares to Ali anyway. If you can't see that you're as thick as he very obviously is. Ali actually had something to say with well formed ideas, expressed articulately and he said it with verve, panache and a good dose of tongue in cheek humor.

Muhammad Ali was a Master. He was tactful, funny, poetic, challenging, entertained and genuinely cared for people, had gimmicks, foundations, gave to charity, fought for ideals (against Vietnam war).
You can`t compare PBF with that, Floyd is just plain egotistic, nothing more. Even a 10-year-old can copy his attitude.
These two are way off...

The whole Mayweather faux-gangster simply doesn't work for him. He would actually do better as a good guy.
whats next?? Floyd for president?? Ali was a legend and we are still talking about him till this day..Floyd will be forgotten and will never ever be like Ali.
