A little recap on the meat and potatoes of Chavez' career. The guy had an absurd amount of title defenses and fought more championship rounds than just about anyone throughout history. It IS complete bullshit when people say he fought nothing but scrubs. He fought several very good opponents and beat them. nobody will approach that type of record again....at least not with the comp. Sr. faced.
And Pac beat Barrera x2,Morales x2,Marquez,DLH,Hatton,Pac has the better names on his record IMO,everytime Chavez stepped it up he didnt look as good,Pernell took him to school and left him in detention and got robbed with a draw,Taylor was schoolin him until the controversial end
Pac knocked out two of the best mexican fighters ever,Barrera and Morales
Yea and they were both about 6 years removed from their prime, let's be real here.
DLH, Barerra and Morales were not in their prime when Pac fought them and Morales beat him!
JCC has the better resume up until now. It's like DLH or Tzsu taking credit for beating JCC....he was a done fighter by that time.
Chavez beat won 90 consecutive time with names like
Rocky Lockridge
Juan La Porte
Edwin Rosario
Roger Mayweather X 2
Meldrick Taylor X 2
Hector Camacho
Greg Haugen

i think its time i told you who i really am.....just because of the constant bashing my articles get...it has to stop....registering here was recommended by the filipino ring idol himself along with his lovely wife
you fukked up
ronnie says "charming" not "lovely"
Pacquiao. JCC fought about 90 taxi drivers.
Actually he didn't....this is the biggest missconcepcion about JCC that he fought nothing but bums. He stayed BUSY and there's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't matter if you fight 20X or 100X as long as you have credible fighters on your resume and beat them. JCC has beaten some great fighters and at this stage is better than Pacman.
Pacquiao: Hatton, old DLH, Morales, Barrera, Ledwaba, Solis
Chavez: Meldrick Taylor, Ramirez, Camacho, Haugen, R.Mayweather
I think Chavez has faced better competition(then again if u have so many damn fights). Pacquiao is close thanks to Chavez beating a lotta cab drivers and Pacquiao being a 4 lineal champ. Chavez has beaten the better opponents though.
I don't like these polls currently cuz the forum is overrun with too many Pac fans...u got people rating Pac over Pernell..smh
Very good quote. I think Pac will be an ATG and am a big fan of his but if you look at his biggest victories it's been against fighters past their primes. Morales, DLH and Barerra all were past their prime and Morales even beat him one time.
Pac will be an ATG but it's too soon to put him up their with JCC Sr. though.
there's no point.
those guys that hit you have 10,15,20K rep power.
people are even asking how to red k someone in that thread because they're new.
miron is a pacland mod.
a lot of the pacland guys have boxingscene accounts.
he probably has a thread over there saying log onto here just to red k you.
lmao
You how do the pinoys have so many damn karma and e points anyways?
