Who is faster, Manny Pacquiao or Zab Judah?

Zab displays amazing speed but it's the kind that takes a lot of energy. That's why I think it's more flash than substance at elite level. Pac can maintain his fast and high paced combination power punching for 12 rounds whereas Zab tends to gas out before the halfway mark and he doesn't stop his opponents as much as Pac does. Pac can go as fast as Zab (see training footages) but he doesn't have to at the extent of sacrificing leverage. He doesn't go overboard with the speed and that makes him a more effective puncher overall. If you watch them in the ring....Zab is in on another level with his handspeed..I dont think its close.... Ive been saying that for the longest,... The only thing Judah does better than Manny is to get knocked out face first!!!!!!! I don't know, Pac's done that a couple of times pretty well. :lol1: Just based on handspeed, it's pretty obviously Judah. well zab is really fast with his hands man, but idk, i think manny is a little faster overall but if zab is faster by any means its hand speed, but manny could still be faster there and manny has way... more stamina than zab and more motivation too

I think all the ppl who are picking Pacquaio misunderstand the question... there is absolutely no question about who is better now, who is better in their primes, etc. Pacquiao without a question is better than Judah EVER WAS!! With that said, I believe that Judah is one of the most Naturally Talented Fighters ever in the sport... what is unfortunate for Zab is the fact that he never developed the capability to come back after being hurt. If you look at most of the fights he's lost.... he held his own against some amazing fighters: He was whooping Kostya Tzysu's (however u spell it) butt, til Tzysu landed that punch that knocked Zab out; he was beating the crap out of Mayweather until the late rounds when PBF started landing good combos, He held his own against Cotto and Clottey until they respectively started landing big punches... once Judah is hurt, or gets hit with big punches he starts losing his composure, starts screwing up and getting hit more and more... then he does dumb things like low blows and what not... once Judah is hit by big shots at any point of the fight, he will mess everything up... Regardless, Judah as talented as he is, cannot be mentioned by any means in the category of great Fighters, Pacquiao is a great fighter... Yeah I know, that fight is just as unfortunate as the Ruiz-Tua fight. Ruiz was winning that fight handily until Tua landed that lucky punch.

Who knows, maybe if someone made a split-screen Video comparison right next to each other we would know. One thing I do know, is that Manny Pacquiao is 20x the boxer Zab Judah could ever dream of being. Maybe even more then that. I'm going to go with Manny though. I think Zabs fast, but his speed has to be overrated a bit since Floyd, Cotto, Clottey didn't have trouble over coming his speed. Zab is one of the fastest if not thee fastest puncher in boxing but he tends to break down after a few rounds!!! Speed wise Zab would beat Manny but Mannys Power would be to much for Zab!!!

He gets shit on for the Kostya KO but the dude is a natural 140lbs'er who took some serious bombs from guys like Cotto and Clottey. Zab has heart and chin in spades.

They are about even now but Zab in his prime was wickedly fast. Zab could have been something special if he would have listened to his father more and used his mind more in the ring instead of resorting to show boating and brawling with everyone.

Zab is faster with one punch. There's no doubt to me. But Manny is so much more overwhelming with his speed because he throws punches in bunches. Zab is easier to time because his punches become predictable eventhough they are fast. For example Pacquiao would make Baldomir look foolish with his combination punching and in and out movement. Manny is also quicker on his feet.
