Of all Mr boat buyer's potential fights, right now this is the 1 I wanna see most. Mr boat buyer will never do it tho. If Pac is dumb enuf to go after Cotto should he beat Clottey, I wonder if Mr boat buyer will retire again, cuz he'll have no fukkin choice but to face SSM.
Obviously Floyd wants Juan Manuel and Manny, probably back to back if he could get it.
But Arum will make the negotiations hell, and as you say, he could very well ruin the fight if Cotto beats Pacquiao.
For some odd reason, Arum loves squaring his men off against each other.
In the case of Cotto/Margarito, it was a given, for 147 supremacy.
But I don't see what a potential Pac/Cotto clash brings to the table, at all.
Neither of them sell a shitload of PPVs, the casuals who have fallen in love with manny probably don't even know who Cotto is.
It's just a strange fight possibility.
Yea to me Cotto-Pacman is an odd fight, I do not really see the angle but it could probably do pretty good (especially if Arum plays up Cotto as a possible oppoenent leading into that fight, could generate extra interest in Cotto if he does well against Clottey, then again if Cotto does not win Arum has to basically cater to Floyd to get him to fight, lots of extra intrigue to that fight now)
I disagree that Floyd will not fight Mosley. He might not because Pacman is the better option and much bigger fight. That fight could be a huge pain in the ass to make though, Arum could dick around and force us to wait on that fight or **** it up and get Pacman beat by Cotto (I am unsure of this fight for the time being and need to think on it some more).
If that happeans who else is there for Mayweather to fight except Mosley (to me there are only 3 guys Floyd can fight after JMM- Pacman,Mosley or Cotto of those dudes the only guy that Floyd does not have to deal with Arum to make a fight is Sugar Shane)? I could easily see that scenario playing out.

Floyd use to call out Shane all the time but this was when Shane had beat oscar and he was THE MAN at the time and Floyd was just starting to make a name for himself. i guess Shane didnt see any money in it or something
Floyd? Fight a Welterweight?
Keep dreaming, son.
Aside from that, nobody want's Mosley's ass right now.
Not after that Margarito performance.
Him doing what he did to Margarito after looking so shitty against Mayorga, is basically like....shit, I got no comparison. I was going to go with a "Swamp Thing" reference but I figured it'd be over too many people's heads......
Anyway, what I'm getting at, is that he took the unbeatable, most feared man, and kingpin of 147 and beat him down into a pile of liquid shit infront of the whole world, and a very hostile crowd.
Nobody wants to get in the ring with that beast right now. They're probably waiting for him to turn 40.

I swear like 10 years ago i was tryna see this so bad but it never happened. at 147, no excuses and ill pay hbo for that.
It'll probably happen eventually but I think Mosley is still holding out for a shot Pacquiao. If 35% is the price I'm sure Mosley would be more than happy to take 35% of the money for a Pacquiao fight. He'd probably even take 25% of the money for a Pacquiao fight.
I like how everyone conveniently forgets that Mosley turned this fight down twice, once as recently as 2006. Then as soon as Mayweather beat Oscar, Mosley comes begging him for a fight. I want to see this fight as much as any other, but I won't be mad if Mayweather never forgives Mosley for blatantly ducking him twice.
His tooth hurt.
And he needed a vacation.
STFU.
Seriously though, they've both ducked each other. They need to suck it up and fight each other to settle this shit once and for all.

Mosley will age over night if Mayweather fights him, and Cotto would get the credit since he beat him first.
Mayweather has nothing to gain whatsoever.

Lately, I'm becoming the new Teddy Atlas, but this I'll stick with
Anyway, have you made the Corrales HL yet?
Nah man.
I was all set to do it today too, but I started piecing it together and it was just too fucking sad.
I ended up watching pretty much every highlight of him on youtube, and re-reading all the threads that were made for him the day he died.
That's basically been the better part of my day. :(
