Why will Hatton NOT revert back to his old self.

Why would he even consider boxing with Pacquiao and "working behind the jab". He's got a shorter reach, he's slower and has much less experience going toe to toe in a boxing match. He will revert back to his old self, probably even in the first round. I have been askin myself this

Because the JAB is MONEY. Jab, straight-right, left-hook. You need something to set up the other punches. You can't just go diving in there because he will get smacked around by Pac. "Shorter Reach": it's about timing (as well as some speed). Hatton actually mentioned Tyson with this. Once he gets inside, then he can revert to "Old Ricky," although I like the Pre-Tszyu Ricky when inside because he is actually punching. He can do a little of everything.
