I would say Dawson. Chad is much more technically sound than Jermain, I believe and lets combinations go far more smoothly than Taylor ever has. Jermain doesn't have the ability to get in and out as Dawson does. However, Dawson does have a habit of wanting to stay in and mix it up as we saw against Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver. Should he do the same against Froch it would be his undoing.
I saw an improvement when he fought Tarver, his counter-punching improved, and so has his footwork. Dawson knows how to deal with aggressive sluggers now, although I agree he does like tend to mix it up when it's not necessary. I just hope he becomes like Hopkins and knows when to change his tactics.
To be honest, I'm more interested in seeing a Froch/Pavlik fight, though. That I think would be a great bout. And maybe this one is just me, but if Froch did fight someone at light heavyweight, I would like to see Glen Johnson get a crack at him.
