cotto crushes floyd. no contest. hes better and stronger at 147, cotto can hang with all the real welterweights. floyd cant. cotto can also hang with floyds speed. floyd is obviously faster, but not that much faster. especially at 147.

Ch@mpBox@PR I would bet you, your soul that Cotto would lose to Floyd.
Everyone forgets that Floyd doesn't care if he wins by decision.
Be prepared to lose your soul if that fight ever happens.
i saw Cotto take some nasty punches by shane mosley and still continue foward, but after the Margarito fightI'm not sure if he can withstand much punishment. If he can take as good of punches like he got from Mosley and a loaded Margarito he can win, but he has to avoid Mayweather tying him up and holding his arm or else he wont do much from the inside like the outside.
Tito looks like he is fresh from the PR gay pride parade in your sig.
tito was volunteering during 9/11.
he was helping with the rescue effort and donating blood hours before the hopkins fight.
only reason he lost really......... a rested , non-blood drained tito easily ko's hopkins. :D
When they both were at 140, I was very confident Floyd would take him apart. At 147, my thoughts in favoring Floyd weren't as strong but I would still favor Floyd. Now, I don't know. I will wait and see where Floyd is at both Mentally and Physically if he returns. Until then, not sure how anybody can make up their mind with any conviction.
Taking the Physical aspect of it out; I just don't trust fighters that talk the way Floyd was talking as he was heading into retirement. Fighters like that, I would say are more likely to lose or quit in a fight when they return unless they get the "will" to fight and prove themselves back like Big George Foreman did. And it doesn't help that he waits to start fighting later in the fight instead of from round one...plus, a decline of combinations and activity.
