The ONLY reason this fight may be competitive early is because of Klitchko's lack of ring activity in the last few years. That being said I still believe Haye's is your typical marketing made fighter who even at cruiserweight had quite a few lackluster performances mixed in with some decent ones. Fact is the key to this fight in my opinion will be Haye's speed and chin. If he can stay consistant and not try to be MR. Macho and take a solid shot on the chin he may have a chance. What I believe will happen is Haye will run and gun for a few rounds then plant his feet and that will be his undoing, he'll get hit with a counter, be staggered then end up on the floor a few times before the ref stops it. He'll then blame the loss on his hair stylist for braiding his hair to tight cutting blood flow off from his brain demand to fight the other Klictchko brother without a tune-up and YUP! you guessed it the fight fans buy it again , Haye gets knocked out again and retires a multi-millionare laughing all the way to the bank!!
Haye has not shown anywhere close to Brewster or Sander's power at HW. .
I am not saying Haye has more power than Brewster but i remember his fight after Wlad and he couldn’t knock down Kali Meehan who was KO in one round by Danny Williams and in 4 by Rahman. Speed and snap in the punch is the main thing going for Haye he never landed clean on Barrett yet had him all over the ring, I don’t see the fight being won by the first punch unless one of them throws and lands a crushing bomb as there first punch but i doubt it.
If i was haye i would just come out firing bombs....and hope he can get wlad aout before 6....i really dont believe wlad can handle pressure like hayes, if haye can be relentless with it....if not it could turn out to be a technical borefest and wlad will win.
klitschko
height 6′ 6½″ / 199cm

Haye
height 6′ 3″ / 191cm
reach 78″ / 198cm
guys who KO'd Wlad:
lamon brewster
height 6′ 2″ / 188cm
reach 77″ / 196cm
ross purrity
height 6′ 3″ / 191cm
reach 80″ / 203cm
corrie sanders

keep in mind Haye KO'd Alexander Gurov:
6′ 5½″ / 197cm
in 1 round
Oh crap, you're right. Wlad doesn't have a chance in hell now.
Never mind that Gurov was 198 lb, and had already been stopped 4 times by guys weighing 190 pounds or less. (yes even in the first, when much closer to prime, by the great Terry Dunstan)
Haye has not shown anywhere close to Brewster or Sander's power at HW. The Purrity fight being over 10 years ago, with a 225 lb Wlad, less than two years as a pro, gassing in the 11th after using Ross as a punching bag for 10, when he'd never been past 8.
evander holyfield, (david haye :joke:) lol
Holyfield, no. Next.
It almost seems that people dismiss how many one punch ko's Wlad has.
He often takes his time doing it but I can count at least 4 big right hands against dudes that weren't known for going down.
Thompson and Brock are two, not even really thinking about it.
It's like saying Mormeck has more power than Wlad or Enzo has more power than Brewster or Peter.
I wouldn't be my life on this fight. It's not like Wlad's chin is granite. Haye is very quick, aggressive and looks like he might have some pop at HW. Not really sure who he's beaten besides an old, inactive Mormeck (who like you say, dropped him) and Maccaroni (who's chin has since been proven to be pure glass,) but I definitely give him a chance, if he fights a smart fight and is able to get past the jab, or maybe catch Wlad in a clinch with an uppercut or something. But yeah, I hear some funny stuff about this matchup.
Haye=6 foot 3
Wlad= 6 foot 6
6 foot 6 - 6 foot 3 = 3 inches
I swear some peoples maths is messed up, If Wlad is 6 foot 7 then vitali is 6 foot 8 and a half and no way is Vit 4 and a half inches taller than lewis.
Haye looks smaller than Barrett (6'3") to me.

Lennox Lewis is 6'5". 6'8 1/2 - 6'5" is 3 1/2 inches.
Ironic that you're criticizing someone else's math, eh?
I'm still waiting for someone to name a fighter that won a HW title after being previously stopped at a lower weight.

Idk if Wlad was wearing his boots or not, but he looked taller then 3 inches when they stood next to each other, but to be fair it was a picture and pictures don't always come out accurate when its about height.
The more I think about this fight, the more ridiculous it seems. Haye only recently coming up to HW and while being a good CW has huge *****s in his armour primarily his poor defence and chin. Wladamir on the other hand has been established for some time as being the top dog in the devision who has an abundance of experience combined with huge power, an accurate jab, and a great defence. Plus Haye is loosing 4 inches of height and about 25 pounds and a fair bit of reach. It seems to me that people are relying on Wlads only real weakness in having a pretty average chin to be the deciding factor in the fight and overlooking everything else.

i dont understand y people call barrett shot wen he fought haye. the guy was on a 3 fight KO streak before losing to haye and as hungrier than ever
Three clubfighters in a row, I'm impressed. I considered Barrett shot 2 years ago when clubfighter Cliff Couser sparked him in two. The same Couser that has lost his eight fights since then, six of them by KO/TKO.
But I guess he almost qualifies as the two top 10 HWs that Haye was supposed to fight first.
You must be kidding, Wlads jaw is shit, Bonin and Barett both got their heads almost knocked off, the punches that floored those guys would floor Wlad too.
Who the ****s that, and Barrett is old
Steward has really tweaked wlads style and he is hard to hit. If haye gets wild in there he will get countered badly and KTFO.
Smart money is on wlad. He the one thats been there at heavy for his whole career and taken real heavyweight shots and gotten back up off the floor. Haye has never taken a shot like Wlad's.
Even though I am a klit fan, I kind of want to see Haye win so we can see Vitali beat down Haye.
I like Vitali better than Wlad.
Wlads weak chin has been highly exaggerated and I can't see him going down unless he is hit with a complete barrage of punches. Plus with all the Haye trash talk he's going to want to put on a top performance so I also see him getting up if he gos down. Haye on the other hand has never experienced the power of a real heavyweight and Wlad is pretty much as powerful as they come.As much as I want Haye to win I really can't see on paper how it is possible.
Well Haye couldn't take out a shot, 37 yo Barrett with one, or two, or twenty punches, and Wlad's chin and defense are much better than Barrett's at this stage. Plus Wlad has always gotten back up and will hold on for dear life till the round is over. So no, and I don't think Wlad will take out Haye with one punch either.
