Why Pacquiao can beat Miguel Cotto

Cotto is a left handed orthadox fighter, once he fights a south paw he's going to be forced to use his straight right hand, which is average at best. Combined with Pacquiao's extreme speed advantage and workrate, Cotto will most likely lose. Now I expect to get flamed for this obviously, but please sig this thread if the fight does end up happening, I will apologize if I'm wrong. this is why Oscar got his ass beat vs Manny Pacquiao this is why Barrera got his ass beat by Manny Pacquiao this is why Pernell Whitaker, old as he was, nearly beat Oscar in his prime (some say he won) This is why Winky Wright beat Trinidads ass (although I'm not sure if he's a natural lefty, but he uses his left as his prime weapon). all natural left handers fighting in orthodox against a southpaw. Marquez, is a natural right hander. He's got a great right hand hence his success in the Pacquiao fights. As it stands now, I see Miguel getting frustrated and his right hand not being enough to win him the fight vs Pacquiao's left.

Cotto will have a beatdown with Pac. He'll be more competitive than Diaz though but the same result.

Cotto hasn't really shown any problems fighting southpaws in particular.

Pacquiao would be competitive with Cotto in the early rounds but in the end Cotto's power would be too much for Pacquiao. Cotto by mid rounds stoppage.

Pacquiao surprises me more with every fight in getting better, when after more than 14 years as a pro, he should be starting to fade. That said, I'd be shocked to see him beat Cotto, unless of course the Marg loss ruined him, which it doesn't look like it did.

Why? Explain, because from what I have seen, Cotto is a better boxer than Shane. Shane is a fast, slugger and Pac tees of on those. But against Shane Pac will be too small and the speed will be match. Again I dont take anything away from Pac, he is great, but ighting the Top WWs is pushing it. Shane is bigger and has a better right hand than Cotto. 2 things that greatly help against a southpaw. It's not all strength and power. Cotto, as ambidextrous as he is, works off of his left hand and uses it as his stable (great jab and L hook). Shane also has a better chin.

Pac-man, Shmaq-man.....I love this Manny-fest after the "De La Hoya Ass-Whippnig". Hatton we have to see to believe. Cotto would kill him. Case closed. Enough w/ the Pac-man bullshit. He's great....but remember, he fought for the 1st time @ lightweight (Diaz), who was a ****ing punching bag, & then fought for the 1st time @ welterweight against a weight-drained Oscar. I smell hype. Remember Cotto doesn't have that iron chin... Maybe you will eat all your stupid words if the fight happens...

he lost a step or 2 after the wars what are you talking about, he went on to beat Morales in the third fight after losing to Manny. Then he went 12 with Marquez and even knocked him down.
