Hard to say Ali because when he fought a guy like Foreman it's because he was after the world title and fought a lot of the other guys through eliminators. It's not like he was always the champ and took on all comers, not that he ducked anyone so to speak, but he has different circumstances.
pacman "i'll fight anybody, anytime", "....i just fight whoever my promoters pick". true story
p.s. JB, you're still a clown
ok explain how i'm wrong....he said he would fight valero....ummm didnt....then said he would give marquez a rematch took 4 years....try not to be such a nuthugger...pac=a duck ducker
the question should be "who has avoided other fighters?" because most fighters dont avoid others, the list for this thread should be enormous, we have a sport in boxing that has the best athletes and competitors in the world..........................
where the fukc is pacquiao in this poll????
dude pacquiao is the defention of what "ducking" is....its documented he ducked valero....ducked marquez for 4 years between '04-'08....pacquiao should not even be mention with those guys on that list....
paul williams has never ducked anybody
Gotta be Ali. After Foreman destroyed Frazier and Norton, two guys that had beat Ali, Ali had no problem facing him and taking his best shots, even dropping his big a$$.
fernando vargas, end thread
Co-sign... he was rushed through his entire career but still fought the best he could, I mean fighting Trinidad at such a young age was unheard of... he wasn't ready yet.
Ricardo Mayorga gets no love..??
and others that were mentioned like
Fargas
Holyfield
Duan
De La Hoya
Ali
Hopkins- He is 44 years old, and if he retires right now then Dawson doesn't count. And he didn't avoid Toney. Toney just got FAT!!!! END OF THAT STORY
oscar de la hoya
He fought a lot of big names and also lost a lot of big fights.
I'll also add Fernando Vargas. He was thrown to the lion's den so early that's why his longevity in boxing suffered.
