I scored the fight for Holmes but I never saw the comment. But I did read about it
Holmes received heavy criticism for his pre-fight comments, which he stated "Rocky Marciano couldn't have carried my jockstrap." Holmes later apologized.

It was during the post fight press conference of Holmes vs Spinks I.
To be fair I think the Holmes fight was one of Norton's best performances. He gave it everything he had and was never the same.
Shavers was in good shape for the first Holmes fight but Holmes boxed brilliantly. The rematch was actually tougher for Holmes even though Shavers' conditioning was worse.
lennox lewis beats those guys in less than 6 and makes wlad quit on his stool too
ye thats why Vitali was winning the fight and had Lewis stumbling all over the ring and retired right after that fight when he promised a rematch to Vitali right in the ring after the doctor had stopped the fight cause of Vitali suffering a cut, what a british whimp
I ask for big wins and he gives me Cooney, ROFL.
Then he puts old by Ali, but not Norton and Shavers.
Then gives me Spinks when I asked for wins.
This dude is too much.
Now who's making an ass of themselves.
Cooney destroyed Ken Norton. Norton and Shavers were older but not like Ali was.
And I was talking about Leon Spinks not Michael.

It's cool, I'm used to you not knowing what you're talking about. Now how about someone name some of Holmes' big wins?
Norton, Berbeck, Shavers, Ali (old), Spinks, Cooney, Witherspoon, and Butterbean.

Dude, WTF, I've never even talked to you before. I made a mistake, I'm not perfect, and never claimed to be. Then I admitted it and didn't even give you any back talk. Better than most posters on here would give you.
Shit. For some reason I thought Hide was older. My bad.
Nonetheless, he's still Herbie Hide.

I still think the best Wladimir I've seen was the one who plastered Monte Barrett years back. That version looked like a beast.
I like the version that KTFO Calvin Brock.
I made a post about it earlier:

An old Herbie Hide? You mean a 27 year old Herbie Hide, who's still fighting 10 years later (and has won his last 12 fights ?) Come on dude, you can do better than that.

You don't really believe these names are impressive do you? Danny Williams? An old Herbie Hide? Ray Austin?
I have no problem calling the Klits the best heavyweights today, and I believe they could hang with most heavyweights all time. But these people that come on here and claim they're the greatest ever (werewolf, Ironfist) are out of their minds and disrespectful to those who have paved the way.

It's funny how much better lil' brother's resume is yet he's considered the weaker of the two.
I made a post about it earlier:
Wlad: Chris Byrd (x2), Sam Peter, Sultan Ibragimov, Lamon Brewster, Calvin Brock, Monte Barrett, Jameel McCline, DaVarryl Williamson, Ray Mercer, Francois Botha, Hasim Rahman, Derrick Jefferson, Tony Thompson, Axel Schulz, Eliseo Castillo, Ray Austin
Vitali: Corrie Sanders, Sam Peter, Herbie Hide, JC Gomez, Kirk Johnson, Larry Donald, Danny Williams, Vaughn Bean, Timo Hoffman, Ed Mahone, Dicky Ryan
The Klitschko brothers have impressive resumes. They dominate and KO all of their opponents.
Wladimir
Chris Byrd x 2
Lamon Brewster
Samuel Peter
Sultan Ibragimov
Calvin Brock
Ray Mercer
Tony Thompson
Hasim Rahman
Tony Thompson
Monte Barrett
Ray Austin
etc.....
Vitali
Samuel Peter
Corrie Sanders
Juan Carlos Gomez
Danny Williams
Kirk Johnson
Larry Donald
Herbie Hide
Lennox Lewis - beat up Lewis scared him into retirement
etc.....

I agree. Wlad has been a good champion and has taken on the best in the division for the most part. Yet Vitali has more nuthuggers.
Is there a standout name on that list?
For the Klits, not really.
The fact that their fanatics claim they're the greatest heavyweights ever is a absolute joke and a slap in the face to the real ATG heavyweights.
