I postulate that the following statements are facts:
1) Team Margarito Purposely attempted to cheat with Plaster of Paris in the fight against Shane Mosley.
2) Shane Mosley did not look good in his previous fight against mediocre opposition (Ricardo Mayorga).
3) Antonio Margarito brutally beat down Miguel Cotto.
4) Miguel Cotto beat Shane Mosley.
5) With the above in mind, only an insane and illogical Team Margarito would decide to cheat against Shane Mosley and not against Miguel Cotto.
6) Thus it follows as circumstantially fact that one and only one of the following statements is true:
A) Team Margarito is composed of insane and illogical
individuals.
or
B) Antonio Margarito cheated when he brutally beat down Miguel Cotto.
So is this analysis correct? If it is wrong, how so? The only statement that I can see can be attacked reasonably is #5. If you believe #5 is incorrect please say how so, and try to be logical.
THOSE WHO VOTE NO, EXPLAIN HOW IT IS WRONG DAMMIT!!!! :banghead:
I mean, guys, i'm not a lawyer, but I have been a juror. The judge tells a jury many times that Circumstantial evidence IS evidence and that direct evidence, while helpful, is NOT completely necessary to convict. This is powerful circumstantial evidence.
Margarito looked super human against Cotto and Cintron, yup, the same Cotto who barely got by Mosley,"who,by the way,is an elite fighter",then all of a sudden,he gets caught with something in his gloves and wow,Mosley makes him look like an amateur, the same guy who destroyed Cintron, the hardest punchin welterweight?Makes U wonder,"Im just sayin"..
mosley was hitting cotto with way more force for 12 rounds and miguel barely had any swelling, but looks like he was in a car accident from taking maybe 4 rounds of shots from marg. man please this bastard cheated cotto and every1 knows it. thats y tonys punk ass has been silent.
Co- sign great logic
No proof if he used it or not. If he did use it then that makes Evangelista Cotto look bad* for not looking out for Miguel like Nazeem looked out for Mosley. If Evangelista was as proffesional as Nazeem and double-checked if Marg was doing everything under the rules of the Las vegas boxing Comission, none of this talk would have happened. Although in an interview with primera hora Evangelista cotto himself says he really doubts Margarrito used illegal substabce for the Cotto fight.
as a boxing fan and Cotto's obvious damage face there is no doubt.
And Nazeem seems to have and eagle eye for this things
cubanprospect u know whos overrated. gamboa. i bet u all up his nuts though right. u need 2 go and follow baseball cause thats the best thing in a while 2 come outta cuba

Again that analysis IS evidence. It is circumstantial evidence, but evidence nevertheless. Any judge will tell you that many cases have been proven with circumstantial evidence alone!!!

As you know,...When Margarito was caught with the plaster it was still damp. When he fought Cotto, he was loosing the first half of the fight. It's amazing how fast Cotto's face was ripped apart and swollen in a matter of a few rounds, of course due to the plaster finaly hardening. Go back and watch the fight..Between rounds Margaritos cornermen ask how his hands feel. Their conversation tends to lead towards the hardening of the wraps. I don't recall what round but it was the first half of the fight. Check it!
If we were in court you'd probably lose. There is no substantial evidence he used it against Cotto...although I have a strong feeling he did.
whether he used it against Cotto or not I still don't think Margarito's that good...
Are You aware that evidence can be circumstantial as well as direct?
