It's because there were a lot of top lightweights in the card for that event. Unfortunately, Barrios and Casamayor were injured so this lessens the value of the event. I wonder how good Valero really is.

Well, it was originally a pretty stacked PPV that was to include Joel Casamayor, Julio Diaz, Valero, Jorge Barrios and Michael Katsidis. All in matches against each other or solid opponents. It was a Lightweight tourney, so it was worthy of the PPV thing, to an extent. Nonetheless, Casa and Barrios both had to pull out, which sucked. However, solid replacements have been made, but the card has lost some luster. Still, as the first bracket gets out of the way, it should impress more.
