Is it me or would it not feel right if Hatton beat Pac

IMO Pac is at the highest stage of his career at this point. The hype behind him is immense. Has wins over legends Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. And to top it off he was involved in a mega fight with DLH and received the golden touch after he won that fight. Hes got greatness written all over him and who ever beats him at this stage in his career will get major acknowledgement and credit. And so I thought to myself, what if Hatton beats Pac? And to me, it just wouldnt seem right. Even tho Hattons name is huge, for some reason it just wouldnt seem right seeing the media and fans handing the crown of the accomplishment to Hatton the fighter. The collazo fight, ring post ko, nasty lazcano performance. Any body else feel that way? With that said, Pac by KO. It's just you.

it'd be a shame, would mess alot of things up and taint Pacman's legacy somewhat but sometimes underdogs win

Pac is a very very blown up fighter now. Hatton is a natural Welter. Draining to get to 140, and coming at 150+ (according to him) in the ring. Hatton should be facing Mosley and Cotto, not chasing after Pac and JMM

well said larry...and the lazcano fight was pre floyd sr. as the trainer....passionate fans want a hatton win that night I understand what you're saying but I really believe the same as other posters said: Passionate fans want whoever is the best man that night to win. I think there are about an equal number of fights for whoever wins. The one difference being Mayweather. Maybe some of you won't agree but based on the first fight I can't see Hatton beating Mayweather, especially at 147 where the fight would take place. Mayweather vs Pac however is an interesting fight from many different angles. p4p #1 vs former p4p #1, etc To the poster who speculated Mayweather vs Pac may end up being like Tito vs Oscar, I think there is something to be said for the historical importance of the fight and just seeing who the winner will be and at times these factors can make up for a fight not being that exciting. Just my opinion.

Tho it wouldnt seem like such an upset if pac hadnt beaten delahoya so easily me thinks!!! think about it :boxing::boxing: hatton is the closes thing to a prime de la hoya in the sport the guy sells more tickets than anyother boxer alive on the planet today....sold more ppvs in britain for his fight against mayweather....it just makes sense to when you look at that hatton should win this by just wearing down pac being a live 140 pound world champion....pac's luck runs out that night challenging bigger men, why do think roach pulled him back down from 147, he knows size matters

i think the total opposite of the title of this tread....i think its great for boxing if hatton wins.....the possibilty for many match ups open up if hatton beats pac.....plus I think ricky is a really determined guy like he has something to prove in this fight....I think most passionate fans are cheering for a hatton victory, even they dont think it will happen.....I personally see a knockout of pac by 10th-12th round, either by just too much pressure, or could be lucky punch that send pac out....or hatton split decision...... I personally think mayweather-pacquiao would be bad for the sport, does anybody remember trindad-de la hoya, so much hype, and the fight was kinda boring

It would be a mild upset, but not a big shock imo. I just think more possibilities of good fights are there if Pac wins than if Hatton wins. I'm pickin and rootin for Pac in this fight.
