tua bigger and thicker, he hits harder. tyson and tua have both trained at my gym.. the manager got mad at tua because he kept popping the speed bags
for real? which gym?
shavers-tua would have been beautiful to watch for as long as earnie's chin and stamina holds up.
yeah for sure. Tua has the best chin in boxing bar none, so he would have come out the winner but this fight would have been awsome to watch.
Tua. Tua is arguably the hardest puncher in boxing HISTORY. I would say its between him and Shavers for hardest punch all-time.

Before Mike went to Jail he had alot more power because he had so much more leg use. After Jail He didn't spring with his legs anymore and he still had better power than Tua. Ike Iabeabuchi laughed at Tua and stood right in front of him and ate all of it, and beat Tua down. Ike was a beast though, but Young Mike, would have KO'd Ike had he fought him like that. Noone could take Mike's Jaw shots or body attack for to long.
Tua was very strong, but Mike was 10x the athlete, he had better form and more explosion throughout his body and being the superior athlete it created a more devestating punch IMO. Watching the film Tyson's punches appear to be the most hilacious punches of all time.
Ike was a stud. Hard to say anything about Ike dude never even touched the canvas. He had a granite chin. Hard to use him as a gauge. It is hard to say that a young Mike would have tattooed him. That is a false assumption, Tua hit effin hard and you can't assume that Mike hit all that much harder. Tua faced a far better opposition(punch wise).
Mike's resume was made up of bums with blown up records. Anyone who was able to take his punch KO'd him. I'd say a young Tua vs. a young Mike favors Tua. Tua had a far better chin, and never folded. Ike also hit like and anvil as well as Lewis, and Tua still never touched the canvas. Moorer hit hard as hell too. Tua was in the ring with some hitters and never got floored. My assumption is Tyson loses by KO around 10. That would be a war but I still think Tua takes it.
Tyson, Tua hit pretty hard but he mostly fought bums, if he had fought more world class fighters he would have less KO's
ruiz , rahman , ibeabuchi , byrd , oquendo , maskaev , lewis , izonritei , moorer , danell , obed , bell were not bums.

Tyson had 2 fisted power, and had better handspeed to compliment his power.
But we aren't talking about speed. Tyson's power was more effective because of his speed. I'd say he had more power as well.
Tua still hit like an anvil, honestly who cares, if you can knock someone out with a punch I fail to see how it will make a difference. Since both guys can do that it doesn't matter who hits "harder".
Who cares but i think Tyson accomplished more in his career
