For all those, who are saying Cotto-Mosley was really close. tell wich rounds Mosley won. this fight wasn't close at all, i remember vividly Mosley going backwards after the 7th 'cuz he was feeling the heat. Earlier he tried standing toe-to-toe..... Cotto was the clear winner, 116-112.

Cotto's not best anything, the man got KTFO. And don't come here with that plaster excuse, Mosley didn't have his steroid win over the golden boy reversed and neither did Tito's illegal handwraps knockouts..... There's no best WW until they fight each other. I voted for Pwill simply because apart from Clottey, they were all scared to fight him.

I remember scoring it 7-5 Mosley, but I like a fighter that is effective as well as aggressive. Not just effective because he is running. I think the guy that is trying to get away is losing. Mosley was coming for Cotto and Cotto was trying to get away during the second half of the fight. If Mosley fights Cotto again, i say it is possibly Cotto getting KO'd. Sorry I understand we all score fights differently, but Cotto wasn't really landing as potent a punches as everyone makes it out to be. Even when you looked at Mosley during the interview he gave the I thought I won face, but he is a classy good sport so he gave credit. Cotto had to change his tactics to get away from Mosley, where as Mosley was coming for him I see it like that. He wasn't just boxing he was moving away something that I have never seen Cotto do. I do have a ton of respect for Cotto one of the most talented fighters in the division, but Margs beat him down decisively. Mosley walked him down and showed a glimmer of how to beat Cotto in their fight.

I had Cotto winning 7-5, but a clear 7-5. Round 12 was a tossup, neither did anything Round 9 was a tossup. Mosley landed three huge punches, Cotto landed one huge punch, but everything in between was all Cotto. Every other round was pretty clear IMO.

Some of the rounds that I gave to Mosley were close and Cotto dominated the rounds he won. It was a competitive fight but not close.

I say Cotto until someone other than Margarito beats him. It's hard to say though. Margarito beat Clottey, Williams beat Margarito, Cotto beat Mosley, Margarito beat Cotto, Mosley beat Margarito. Who knows. I do find it hard to include Clottey and Berto in the discussion considering they haven't beaten anyone at the top.

Tough Call. I know who I like and who I route for, but that doesn't automatically make him the best without debate. Cotto got the decision over Mosley, but he didn't dominate him. If they rematch it's a real toss up. Williams is GOOD. But I don't think Williams is the INDESTRUCTABLE ironman that everyone is making him out to be. Yea, he's got reach advantage, but he doesn't always capatalize on it! I noticed in the past and especially in the Verno Phillips fight his corner had to keep reminding him to keep Verno at bay. He tends to revert back to inside-fighting which doesn't disqualify shorter fighters from beating him. And Williams stretching himself across THREE divisions?!?! It's only a matter of time till someone takes him down. He thinks everyone in middleweight is now dodging him cause he ko'd Andy Kolle?!?! who is that girl digging in her hersey highway in your avator Hayden Panettiere. Kinda sucks really, you have the most competitive weight class in boxing. Floyd retires, Williams moves up to JMW/MW, Margarito gets caught cheating, Cotto shows the weight drain excuse for the weak chin was just that, and now we can't get the remaining guys to fight each other.

I see a bunch of contenders to the throne but no actual champions.

Williams is going to have to pack on some muscle to fight Wright at MW. I don't expect to ever see him at WW again. So we'd probably have to have a rematch between Mosley and Cotto to find out, but for now, it's Cotto.
