Joan Guzman vs. Juan M. Marquez @135

People need to realize that just because Guzman does the shoulder roll, doesnt automatically make him a great fighter. The way he plants his feet side on when he goes into the shell means he cant use as much lateral movement to avoid a succession of punches, he ends up leaning away, which can work with single shots, but I reckon hes vulnerable to someone quality who throws multiple straights shots. Marquez can win by jabbing on the outside and following it up with the right lead, punches in bunches and avoiding being square on to guzman's right hand wins him the fight imo. Marquez unanimous decision imo.

Great or Boring Figth Yes, but Marquez not have the power and fast than Soto have... in fact, Soto, will have his chace to broke Marquez... I think. Guzman can make look ridiculous to any boxer, just as it did with Soto. This fight could be great, only if Marquez manages to cut defense Guzman. If he can not do that, then will lost 116-112 or maybe worse. In the end, Marquez won only with a good fight and could do so by KO or Decision. And Guzman, only wins by decision, but can do so much in a fight that would be easy and boring.

marquez would counter him all day but not knock him out, guzman is good but aint on his level. marquez gives pacquiao trouble even tho he lost, guzman wouldnt give pacquiao trouble at all, maybe first 2 rounds

Boxing is not about hate its about Respect. Guzman gets no respect because he has not earned it(period)..I don't like Hopkins but I respect his accomplishments.Any descent fighter can look good against his last 5 opponents with a combined 28 losses. That's for sure. I don't like or respect him he has done nothing to earn it. When he beats a top current 10 or 20 he will get some respect. well he beat barrios and humberto soto those are some good accomplishments

Their styles offset each other and I think it would be a boring fight with a lot of tough rounds to score, this fight would probably end in a controversial decision for either fighter.

Hell yea, that's a fight I would really love to watch. Can't seem to pick a clear winner though, my brain says Guzman but my heart says Marquez. That's pretty much exactly what I would have typed haha.
