It's not really THAT much of an upset. It's a pretty close fight. Darchinyan is the 5:1 favorite. Not Tyson/Foreman big, but still a pretty big upset. Way bigger than Pac over DLH.

Big upset tonight, I sense... Again, Arce will rise... I think I am the only one here who believes Arce could beat Darchinyan but I will stick to my prediction... Darchinyan come underestimating Arce's power and will drop flat again on the canvass the way what Donaire did to him... Arce has learned his lesson when he underestimated Mijares so this one will be a full and final redemption... Though Arce is not strong as Donaire, I can see him pounding and pummeling Darchinyan to submission... Arce TKO 10 seriously, you never know since vic has been KTFO in hilarious style before, but Vic has a lot of momentum coming into this fight

I haven't even seen Arce's recent fights. I just have a hunch it'll be pretty close. Mijares and the guy Vic faught before couldn't punch, and I thought got pretty discouraged early on. Arce can at least duke it out for a bit early on to see what happens.

wow....some of you must not have seen arces last few fights.....especially against rojas-concepcion and thee thai guy........he got a slight gift vs the thai(who just lost by KO), concepcion rocked him like hell(concepcion reportedly received a slight gift against a washed up former champ recently), and rojas was beating him up badly till arce landed that bodyshot..........i think arce doesnt have a great chin, its his heart that keeps him up, because the one time he fought a deadly puncher, he got KO'ed(Carbajal) and he has been rocked by average punchers....especially lately...... if arce wins, it should be upset of the year....

I doubt it'll be a in the early rounds. I can see a Vic knockout, but Arce is a tough dude, so around the 9th maybe. 6th at the earliest 9th at the latest

how is not a huge upset????????arce is washed up, has struggled mightily with 2 journeymen type fighters in his last 4 fights, and is going against the only man who has held the 3 big titles in the history of the division, who holds a ko win over the man who totally dominated arce... i think vic is gonna blow arce out inside 4.......but im rooting for el travieso

I to agree that it wouldn't be a big upset. But i was thinking that even before Mijares, Arce didn't always look great. I expect a tough fight for both guys. I'll be rooting for Arce but not sure he'd win.
