I always wondered why Pacman is so difficult to beat since he is basically a one handed fighter. If you watch his fights and really observe his style he more or less relies on his straight left. Is it his relentess pressure? Or could it be that his punching power overwhelmes his opponents early in the fight? Maybe his hand speed but then again he rarely throws any combos, other than the one two.
pacman a beast but he been feasting on slow fighters. that L coming dont worry but not by hatton. cant remember the last time pacman fought a fighter with speed.
jmm, that was 2 fights ago
he's a genetic freak, trains extremely hard, his straights are very fast, he fights like a mongoose, his footwork and timing (marquez used this to his advantage) and most of all his determination, he's extremely determined.
I think his real skill is his timing though, it's not just speed.

You gotta study how fighters move and their body rythme to understand how awkward Manny is. Especially now. Let's not talk about the Manny of the past. He was 1 dimensional back then yes, but he still won, so who cares? The Manny of now, full upperbody movement in like first four rounds along with moving his arms to confuse opponent as to where he will be open for a shot. He often throws a fake lead left hand to get the opponent confused as to if he's gonna throw it full or fake it again. This is very common technique for him. Footwork, the way he can shorten the distance in very little time, it has his opponents thinking they are safe out of his punching range, only for him to leap in and unleash a punch or two and dart back out to safety before they can counter. But above all, one of his biggest assets is his stamina and ferocity. He wouldn't be where he is at now if it wasn't for that. He keeps attacking nonstop and stalking, and it gets his opponents tired and to go on the defensive because they are just trying to block his attacks rather than put up any offense themselves. For a complete offensive fighter, it's hard to find anyone better in the game right now.
Lately his foot work/speed, combined with hand speed, combined with accuracy, combined with stamina, combined with work ethic during his training. You get a highly prepared, conditioned fighter with the ability to use all his God given talent.

1. He's not a one handed fighter anymore...he hasn't been one since he fought Morales for the second time
2.Manny does have pressure and power, after a few rounds you tend to wear down... Look at his fights with Diaz Oscar and Morales, they all lost because Manny just wore his opponents down with speed power and good technique... Against fighters who choose to just run, he beats them with activity.
3. He throws many more combos than just the one two now. He has a good counter right hook, a lead left hand, and he throws more uppercuts and hooks in his combos more now.
LASTLY: It seems like the Pac you have been describing is the Pac of 5 years ago...you have to update yourself. Manny is so different now than he used to be.
pac's been beaten several times... by bodyshots when he was still fighting in the phillipines and then he lost to morales
...True but that aint Manny anymore...Manny has totally transformed. Don't believe me? I bet all my points that I can prove that Manny has transformed stylewise over the past 5 years or so.

Explosive punching, awkward rhythm. However, if you mess with his rhythm and timed his punches for a counter's. You start to see, some desperation.
p4p i dont think their is anyone better than him in those weight classes, its just size that will beat him pac is a featherweight. however pac will be the best at 140 because that division is not strong
There are fighters at 140 that will give Pacman hell,Hatton is not easy, still think Pacman is beating him,but there is Holt,Urango and the other champ, that whopped up on Witter,I cant remember his name right now that would give the Pacman fitts!!Mostly because of their size, but u got to use ur advantages, know what Im saying!!
Pacman has owned the lower weight classes, but at 140-147,I can almost guarantee that there are fighters who can and would walk the dogs on the Pacman, not taking anything away from him,but there are much more competitive divisions at 140-147
