Are you insane?Seriously, its not just because i am one of the most die hard fan of pacman but its just a little crazy putting him on the 20th. He has almost equalled the history of henry armstrong and you put him on the 20th?
I know, you are entitled to your own opinion but i seriously think you need a psychiatrist.:omfg:
Well, I'm glad that it keeps you amused. A little simple maybe?
I'd love for you to explain though why you think a guy who had just beaten an undefeated McCullough, and another great fighter in Hector Sanchez, among others, and had just made 5 defenses of his WBC title at the same weight he had always fought, and made it the first time around, was weight drained and shot, but you think the Oscar win was great when he had lost about four out of his last six fights, had not fought at 147 in about ten years and had only had a few fights in as many years?
It's a great win for Pac, no denying that at all, but the Zaragoza win was a hell of a lot more real no matter what his age. Hopkins is still fighting at the elite level and as good as he has ever fought no? Mosley just had his greatest performance at 37. Zaragoza, while old, had just had a very strong string of defenses and beaten some very good fighters. Oscar hadn't done anything even close to that. It's that simple. He couldn't even win a title.
I'm not trying to put down your favourite fighter mate, just think about rationally. The only thing that makes the Oscar win great is that Pac jumped up as high as he did, but really, his opponent was f*cked. He would have lost to anyone in or around the WW limit and would have been KO'd cold by any real WW (ie. Clottey, Mosley, Williams, Cotto, Margarito) on that night.
Hey, I'm sure you'll disagree with whatever I've said though, so, whatever floats your boat mate. Enjoy the laughs I'm sure you'll get out of this post.
:fing02:
meh, not as funny as when you said the first time, it's like listening to the same joke twice. sorry.
ha ha ha!! when erik beats a weight drained, shot, past prime, skeletonized 41 yr old grandpa its a good win, but when Pac moves up from flyweight and make a welter do a no mas, he just retired ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha lmao!! this site is too funny. i lilterally laud out loud when i visit this site.

Not being funny but I disagree with this and think you are being biased towards Pacquiao... I don't think he is above Mayweather, Jones, Hopkins, Foreman, etc. Just my opinion though and yours may be different... by the way i am not being biased towards Floyd... I just don't think he deserves to be above him. :) Either way its your list and I respect that...
i'm not a Pinoy, but I think Pacquiao rightfully deserves to be that high. He has jumped numerous weight classes, and he has a stacked resume.
His resume is so stacked its hard to find a bum, let alone journey man. Even at the beginning of his Career he was fighting the best guys in japan, philipines(?) his tune up fight was David Diaz, a lightweight belt holder.
not many fighters have done what he has done, giving him 20 is being generous. Those other greats are up there because they had 100's of fights, to me that's not a very logical reason.
Floyd jumped a lot of weight classes but his opposition wasn't that great. Other than DLH and Castillo, who he both struggled with.

Joe Gans should be higher. If you read our book about the Old Master, I think you will be more impressed with the old fighters who fought over twenty rounds on a regular basis.
Pacquiao beat Morales 2x,Barrera 2x,Marquez 2x(judge error:p),Delahoya 1x
Pacquiao #20 >>Morales #81 :haha::nana:
I agree with your above quote. Where is Wlad and Naz? And Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield in your top 30. PBF #39. Out of 100 you probably got at least 25 completely wrong. Big props for having the time to put your top 100 of all time.
Oscar was not in the P4P anymore when Hopkins met him....but if your including legends beat then it's like this
Bernard: ODLH, Trinidad
Pac: Morales, JMM, Barrera, Oscar
If it's P4P beaten during that time...then the list goes
Bernard: Pavlik, Tarver, Winky, Trinidad
Pac: JMM II, Morales 1, Barrera 1You're wrong, Ring ranked ODLH top ten before the BHop fight, he was ranked 4 before he lost to SSM, dropped to 8 before the Stumm fight and was back upto 6-7 before the BHop fight.
Barrera got into the Top 10 by beating Pac but dropped out agin when he lost to JMM before he fought Pac the second time.
ODLH never got back into the top ten after BHop beat him.
Trinidad
ODLH
Pavlik
Thats to pac-mans
Morales
JMM
ha ha ha! two of them are coming up in weight! one dimensional comingup in wieght Pavlik? where's barrera, ledwaba? ha ha! u know what? never mind, i forgot i'm debating with a closet Pac hater.
oh yeah, you can add your boy ricky in there too ha ha ha!!
too funny.
Hopkins has a better resume, greater longevity, beat more top 10 P4P at the time of the fight and his losses are "better".
In what way is Pacman better than Hopkins?
put it this way his best victories has come against smaller guys. trinidad, delahoya, wright. so his victories over opponents equal in size are tarver and pavlik.
i give him the longjevity though, but comp no.
The great debate
I dont like these types of lists as its impossible to compare fighters such as pep and tyson/mayweather etc due to the lack of footage for the previous eras fighters..better to list the best fighters from each era...
How can Pacman be number 20 ahead of roy jones, marciano, mayweather, mike tyson(84), george formeman(64), frazier...
How can ali be number 2 but frazier who beat him once is way down at 61 ...doesn make sense..
Best Heavyweights witnessed in my lifetime to present:
Ali....Best of his era
Marciano(50's)
Foreman
Tyson(80's)
Holmes
Frazier
Lewis (late90's-present)
160-200lbs
Robinson(obviously best of his era), Jones 90's, Hagler, Hopkins, Hearns, Lamotta, Holyfield,
0-160lbs
Mayweather (2000-present), Leonard(not called sugar for nothin), Duran, Mosley, delahoya, morales, barrera, Pacman, Whitaker..
iv probaBly left out a few..
200lbs+ Ali
175-200lb Jones
160-175lbs Robinson
147-160lbs Leonard
130-147lbs Mayweather Jnr
0-130lbs Undecided..could be any one of Morales, Barrera, Pacman
If Pacman beats hatton and then beats marquez or another top fighter ill giv him this spot then.
AND REMEMBER...THIS IS ONLY WHO I HAVE WINESSED IN MY LIFETIME...NOT GOIN TO COMMENT ON FIGHTERS I HAVENT SEEN SUFFICIENT FOOTAGE OF JUST BECAUSE SUM JOURNALIST SAID THEY WERE GOOD.
FEEL FREE TO CRITICISE IF U BELIEVE THE LIST TO BE FLAWED
Wow, Manny beating Oscar really is overrated. For your sake, I sure hope Marquez doesn't lose to Diaz ;).
De La Hoya rated kinda high there too...over Trinidad? Morales? AZUMAH?
trinidad is overrated as hell
Hopkins has a better resume, greater longevity, beat more top 10 P4P at the time of the fight and his losses are "better".
In what way is Pacman better than Hopkins?
can you name those top 10 p4p fighters hopkins beat?

Thank you.
Hopkins should be 50 spots ahead of Pacquiao. By the way, Ray Leonard is 9 and Hagler is 19?? What a disgrace.
