Ok, let's settle this shit once and for all. Tito was the unbeatable Welter in his day and Floyd seems to be the unbeatable Welter now (if he ever comes back). Both at their best 147lbs form, who would win?
Stylistically, Mayweather is a really bad fight for Trinidad, I think as long as he doesn't get caught, he'd win but Trinidad had a knack for catching fighters with that left hook so I wouldn't put my money on it.
Also that fight was at 160 so Tito should be able to take his jab. At WW Mayweather would have not trouble predicting Tito left hook.
But would he be able to take that hook? Not to mention Tito's straight right which was a thing of beauty.
Floyd at 160 would take a better punch than Mayweather at 147 against Pavlik.
Herbie Hide. Undefeated at CW, KOd 4 times at HW, once by a clubfighter, once by a complete bum.
Exactly how was the size a factor. Hopkins outboxed him. He used his jab to stop Tito rhythm
A jab from a larger man is different than a jab from a smaller man.
Honestly with this one I don't know.. What I can tell you though is that if Tito hit Mayweather with one of those right hands De La Hoya hit him with he would be on his ass.
Hopkins outboxed Tito. He did not in any way impose his size advanatge. He outboxed his ass clearly.
Hopkins was larger than Tito. It was a factor in him being able to outbox Tito. He didn't have to TRY to use that advantage in that it was just a given element in the matchup.
Mayweather UD. Easy fight. Oscar outboxed Tito like it was nothing and Hopkins did as well
Although Oscar won the early rounds, he was very tense and weary of that power. He had to fight a perfect fight, too bad for him he could only do it for the first half of the fight. Fighting a fight like that takes A LOT out of a fighter. All Oscar could do was run during the second half of the fight.
Hopkins was bigger than Tito and not as tense as Oscar was. He basically used a similar gameplan and made it work.
Mayweather is smaller than both and doesn't hit as hard as either. Tito would be all over him, pushing him extremely hard. I don't know if Floyd would be able to handle that type of pressure.
How was Oscar shot when Mayweather fought him at 154?? Are you saying Pacman beat a shot weight drained Oscar, fair enough.
Don't compare Mayweather to Oscar. Oscar failed when it mattered
There is absolutely no comparison between the opposition that Oscar and Floyd faced, I agree completely. It's easy to remain undefeated when you pick and choose fighters. Like at 140, Tszyu, Cotto or Gatti. Wonder which one Floyd picked? At 147, Baldomir or Margarito? Hmmmm.... At 154, a guy with one fight in over 2 1/2 years ........ Notice a pattern here? Never compare Oscar and Floyd, you're right.
floyd never fights any fighter he same. floyd's style vs baldomir was completey different from the aproach he took with hoya.
tit would have a much better chance at 154 instead of 147. oscar at 147would get brutalized by floyd just oo quick.
How so? A prime Oscar at 147 would give Floyd hell. Floyd barely beat an old Oscar that just got stomped on by a featherweight.
There is one thing I must point out here. Oscar was an inch away from beating Floyd a couple years ago. That was not a prime Oscar. A prime Tito at 147 would present hella more problems that Oscar presented to Floyd the night they fought. Floyd fought safety first and scared. And Oscar wasn't even bringing it to Floyd. Tito woulda brought it. Floyd might just make it to the final bell, cuz Floyd is brilliant defensively, but he'd take a whooping while doing it.
I'm not sure if Floyd can play defense that hard for 12 rounds with Tito. It might look like Margarito vs Cotto, except, Floyd's output wouldn't be quite what Cotto's was and Tito's offense would be a step up of what Margarito's was, you figure it out.
Whether they fought at 140, 147 or even 154, Trinidad wouldn't knockout Mayweather. Mayweather would easily counter everything that Trinidad dishes out and wouldn't get a chance to lead any hard shots. Mayweather doesn't have the power to knockout Trinidad, so the fight would go the distance in Mayweather's favor.
everybody said diego was too big, would put too much pressure and ultimately KO floyd.....floyd by wide decision
i heard "el guason" means "the joker"
is this true, sir?
Yes because Floyd will never lose, to a bigger, stroger equally fast fighter equally in his prime. tito would off KHTFO. Floyd have his abilities, but thinking that he could of beated Tito in his prime is a bit ridiculous!!
No WW today would of had a chance against Tito at 147, no Sr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen, history shows us Tito had problems with technical boxers. And they don't cum as technical as Floyd. Floyd on the other hand has beaten the bigger stronger fighters with KO power.
Just the way it is. Im looking at past matches and how styles affected fighters. Floyd had no problem against big punchers where as tito struggled against technical fighters.
Sorry guys, just don't see it happening. The only way Tito can beat him is via TKO and i just don't see Floyd getting TKO'd or KO'd.
if Ricky couldn't beat him and then NO ONE could, right?

we're all entitled to our opinions but lay off the Titorade - he isn't God, sir.
If Felix could land a flush shot, he could KO PBF, but the odds of him doin that would be slim. Felix has had problems wit technical boxers and PBF would likely UD him by about 9-3.
