John Mugabe?Yes. "The Beast". Only 4 of his 50 fights went the full route: stopped 39 of his opponents in his 42 wins and was, himself, KO'd 6 times in his 7 losses.
I feel bad that I forgot him.
I also forgot to mention Bennie Briscoe who faced the likes of Hagler, Antoufermo, Griffith (I recall that Briscoe lost once by MD and then had a draw), Rodrigo Valdez (who holds the distinction of being the only man to stop Briscoe in the latter's nearly a hundred career fights).
And there was the original "Pajarito", Ricardo Moreno. 59 KO's/TKO's in 60 wins ( alongside 8 KO's in 12 losses, most of them near the end of his career). Promoters of Moreno's fights had to employ entertainers to fill in the time, as they expected Pajarito's fights to be short.
A number of sports figures have taken on the moniker, "Golden Boy", e.g., fighter Donny Lalonde, a soccer player named Figo in Portugal... For the younger ones, the most prominent "Golden Boy" is Oscar De La Hoya. But decades ago there was Art Aragon, who was "more Holywood" than Oscar. He didn't pack as much power as Mugabi and Moreno but his style was exciting and his adventures outside the ring, especially his romantic links with Hollywood's marque' leading ladies, enhanced his charisma. He was also a good source of newspaper quotes and reporters liked to be around him.
Edit/Add: Aragon is in the "World" Hall of Fame but not in Canastota's IBHOF.
Fighters who seldom if ever fail to bring excitement to their engagements for various reasons (fighting styles or big punch or heart or...):
Juan La Porte
Ruben Castillo
Bazooka Limon
Ray Mancini
Danny "Little Red" Lopez
Chuchu Castillo
The young "Pocket Rocket" Wayne McCullough
Ernie Shavers
Mustafa Hamsho (mention of fighting through blood triggers in me memories of Hamsho)
Gerald McClellan
Julian Jackson
Iran Barkley
Rodrigo Valdez
Arturo Gatti
Mickey Ward
Esteban De Jesus
Andy Ganigan (severely flawed who relies on his big punch. His KD of Arguello is burned into my brain)
Lupe Pintor
Yuri Arbachakov
Rolando Navarrette
Erbito Salavarria
Frank Cedeno (a personal bias in this because I was one of the few who thought--correctly as it turned out--that he'd beat Charlie Magri for the WBC world Fly title).
Ebihara and Pone Kingpitch (in my memory, tweedlededum and tweedlededee).

YOU GUYS. I SWEAR.
Tarver and Hamed in HoF. I strongly disagree.
Hamed will enter the HoF soon. The man retired very early, but he had a good career, and unified titles. Tarver will also make it, but these guys are not first ballot HoFers.

"MACHO" became the second youngest WORLD CHAMPION ever, UNDEFEATED for 11 years, 8 TIME WORLD CHAMPION IN 6 WEIGHT CLASSES!!!!!! (if mancini, b.mcguigan, s.sanchez, b.chacon can make it) MACHO IS A SURE HOFer....:boxing:
Only 3 of those titles in 3 weight classes were major ones. Pretty decent resume though, he definitely fought some great fighters. Hard to believe he's still knocking people out at 46.
