Against Hatton Mayweather almost went down to a hatton left hand (was a jab) too bad Hatton isn't much of a jabber.
Against De La Hoya - Mayweather's bane was Oscars left jab. Good lord during round 7 I thought Oscar had the fight won because Oscar seemed to have found a way to get to Mayweather... Too bad Oscar stopped Jabbing.
Baldomir and Gatti didn't have the skills to beat Mayweather...they were both mismatches.
Against Judah...

Zab won the first 4 rounds due to his left hand and right hook. If you watch the highlight above, you'll see that Zab had the upper hand against mayweather whenever he threw the left hand. After 4 rounds Zab stopped throwing his punches and stood there like a punching bag.
Anyone here see the pattern?
Mayweather has always had trouble with his opponents left hands (assuming they are fast). Whenever his opponents would use the left hand effectively, and seem to be pulling ahead in the fight they gassed out and stopped using it.
In Pac's last fight, he showed just how potent his left hand was. Sure Oscar was slow when dealing with it but thats not the point. The point is that Manny has a tremendously good left hand. Whats more is that Manny just doesn't gas out.
He actually steps on the accelerator in the late rounds even when hurt (Marquez - Pacquiao 2...round 9)
I pick Manny to win simply because of how great his left hand is along with the fact that manny has a great right hook which will allow him to catch mayweather coming in (Like in Judah - Mayweather)
Whats more, Manny is a southpaw magnifying the effects of him being able to land with the left hand.
Now I know that Mayweather has a great right hand too, and that Manny's southpaw style will also magnify Mayweather's right hand, but when was the last time manny really had a hard time with his opponents right hand?
So I think Mann won't win by KO but by decision due to many left hands to the body in the center of the ring, a couple of good right hooks that catch Floyd, and relentless pressure applied while Floyd is against the ropes.
The only way Floyd wins is by pot shotting Pac in the center of the ring. But I doubt that that is going to happen much because manny has speed (unlike Gatti and Baldomir but much like Judah) He has head movement (Unlike Hatton so no more check left hooks and easy right hands for Floyd) And Manny also throws while coming in (Unlike Oscar...Oscar pushed Floyd back only when he trew when coming in).
And oh I forgot. Manny won't gas out.
Manny is everything Floyds past opponents were'nt. He has the potential to combine all of Floyd's past opponents against Floyd and beat him. Manny has EVERYTHING even the height advantage (He's smaller benefitting on the inside he's small) and he even has the troublesome southpaw stance like Judah.
-Great left hand + Southpaw Stance = troubled Mayweather
-Great head movement + throwing while coming in = Retreating mayweather
-Great Pressure against the ropes and being small = Defensive Mayweather
-Great Stamina = Winning pattern to continue throught the fight for Manny.
Thats basically it. What do you guys think?
Edit: Karma would be greatly appreciated :)
No, but that shit keeps subtracting even as I get green K. It's been months since I got negative K, and it hasn't happened more than 5 times, if that, throughout my tenure here. Anyway - who cares?
Whoever gave you the red K must have had like 14000 odd points on their bar, And the people that gave you the green K must have had little point on their green bar.............like me now i only have 14 points on my green bar so if i give you a green K it wouldnt do much for you, You need someone have have something like 20,000 odd point to give you a green K for your bar to turn green from red..
Did you miss the - sign next to 10408?

Actually, all the Karma I have is positive, but for some reason the bar never changes from red.

look you put together a solid enough argument but manny cant win this fight
you talk about floyd having trouble with judahs left hand, yeah fair enough, but he came back and won that fight didnt he? he overcame that problem
manny wont catch floyd clean all that much, and if he gets floyd on the ropes, hell i guarantee thats where floyds best work will occur as he rolls off mannys shots and lays on counters
pac isnt strong enough to push floyd around, mayweathers physcial strength is quite underrated and he wont get bullied by manny
he will win a UD
when was the last time zab actually fought for 12 rounds? i think it was more so zabs problem than Mayweather actually coming back. On top of that Pacquiao is 10 times the fighter Zab is.
I knew this was coming and speculation will run until they fight.
because no one knows for sure what would happen, but I'd favor Manny by decision win. Manny has gotten alot better if this was Manny 7 fights ago, I'd probably favor Mayweather. His style has seemed to change, he has great defense and offense. He doesn't want his opponents to land there shots on him. So he is showing great lateral movements now.
Dont you wonder that maybe.. like maybe.. floyd made them look like weak fools..
Many made legends look like shot fighters
floyd mayweather wont just outtrain him, he will destroy him. Manny cant catch up abbility wise, cant techniquely and certainly doesnt have the intelligence and smarts of a pretty boy.
hahahaha nice joke there
What a tard. Pac was double weight drained for JMM huh? he came in on fight night weighing 145. Alot of fighters gain 15lbs overnight that aint shit. Then...he weighed in at 147 for the Diaz fight. Then...he weighed 148 for the De la Hoya fight. So since the day he fought JMM, you are trying to say that he was DOUBLE weight drained because of 3lbs that he has gained come fight night since the JMM fight?
And if you really want to see a weight drained fighter that pac got credit for, check out a guy named Erik Morales at the weigh ins for fight 3 & 2 after Morales asked for the rematch fights to take place at 135 and Roach was quick to say hell no!
You're an idiot... It's not the ENDING weight that got Manny double weight - drained, it's the weight he HAD TO GO TO.
LOOK AT HIM HE LOOKS LIKE A SKULL at that weight.
So no it isnt the 3 pounds in the ring...its the 10 pounds in the weigh in.
Double weight drained meant that he went 2 classes down from his real weight.
You oviously have'nt been watching video's of interviews with Roach. Roach has said time and time again that Manny had a hard time making 135 and was sluggish during the fight with Marquez at 130.
you definitly didnt watch that fight..it was fought on the inside..9thrd he just embarrased hatton before knocking his ass out in the 10th..now who has pacman fought???old ass fighters..what prime fighter has he fought that makes his resume so great..morales,barreara.jmm-who he still hasnt beat...come pacmans resume is full of no m\names and old farts
Look, I'm just telling you that Manny is all of floyds problems rolled into one fighter. And you fail completely to tell me why he ISN'T
All you do is say oh well Marquez beat pac, when in the end Marquez never beat a 100% Pac.
Well so what? What does that have anything to do with the argument that Pac is all of Floyd's problems rolled up in one deluxe package?
All you're doing is saying Floyd is greater than Pac... O RLY??? give me your argument.
And don't say "because Marquez won an Floyd >>> Marquez" because Marquez is not Floyd at all and styles make fights.
And if you want to disuss Floyds resume we can do that too... but right now you have to answer my question
WHY ISN'T PAC ALL OF FLOYD'S PROBLEMS PUT INTO ONE PACKAGE?
here's your answers
-Beause he got credit from Morales 1 and 2
-Because he only beat old fighters
-Because he didn't beat Marquez
-Because Pac wasn't weight drained against Marquez (FALSE)
-Because Floyd has a better resume (questionable)
-Floyds opponents only gassed out because they were missing punches (WRONG - Floyds opponents gas out because they naturally gas out, missing punches barely has anything to do with it.)
but which part of my argument have you ountered in all your reasons??? nothing.
Hehehe. Cmon, I thought it was good myself.
Yup. You kick ass.

BTW arent we all getting way ahead of ourselves with this fight? there is no indication that floyd has any intention of coming back... pardon me if it takes more than just some family members saying it to convince me or anyone else for that matter...
wow!!!! thats why men dont listen to woman
Errr, is it a woman? I don't think so.
Regardless, Lady Fan 2 called the exact round in which Oscar was gonna quit.
Can't knock that kind of prediction.
Go Manny!

Jmm got a draw against a pre-prime pac and lost to a DOUBLE WEIGHTDRAINED Pac.
the key word is DOUBLE... look at his pic under "feedback" Pac looks like a freaking skull.

have you only seen floyd fight at welterweight???why would floyd run from pacman....seriously get educated before speaking
Because thats what he does.., he freaking ran against Hatton and Hatton is naturally a 140 pounder and is nowhere near as talented as Pac.
how is this owning sum 1???your a biased poster....and im far from a hugger..you seem to be a hugger tho..making excuses for pacman..but making shit up about fights floyd WON
Nothing haas been made up.
Yeah Floyd won those fights, but I'm not making up the fact that his opponents just gas giving Floyd easy rounds and the fact that floyd fights B class fighters...
Unless you consider Gatti and Baldomir A class fighter...making you biased but I'm sure you dont :)
co sign!!!!!!
You seem to be offended at how I'm showing everyone how Floyd won good but not bery credible fights. Yeah Pac beat Oscar at 147 but atleast Pac put on a good show and showed off his talent. mayweather... well he just waited for Oscar to gas...again giving Mayweather 6 rounds
thats how stupid you are..the man fought 1 time at 135..now hes naturally 140..lol you owned yourself
I'm not making excuses.
At 130 Pac looked like a corpse so he moves up one weight class
At 135 Manny still had a tough time making the scales having to lose 2 pounds everyday for about 3 or 4 days before the weigh in.
At 140+ Manny looks as good as he ever has been.
Thats why Manny is naturally a 140 pounder...
You seem to be really offended and shaken at what I'm saying...maybe you're biased.
Awesome great Topic, I believe Pacman is the only fighter that can beat Mayweather. They are the same size and both P4P best of their decade. Winner of this fight will best of his era. I would just like to state if Mayweather KO'D Pacman, you can't use any excuse
Not happening genius. Mayweather does more running than boxing against Pacman :D Oh and Pacman's naturally smaller. Live with it. :D

Edit: Karma would be greatly appreciated :)hatton never wobbled or staggered floyd..that punch didnt even land..pacman got ko'd 2 times, and wobbled by jmm...stop acting like beating a weight drained part time fighter makes pacman better than floyd..floyd would break pacman down and ko him
Both those KO's were real early in Pac's career when he basically had to starve himself to make weight. thats the only reason he was KO'd. and JMM landed some great shots on Pac and still wasnt able to knockhim down. Pacquaio has a great chin he can take whatever is thrown at him. and for all the talk of Pacquiao's offense, what has most impressed me has been Pac's defense. He is no longer the mini-tyson version. he has improved his defense so much, his footwork is as good as ive seen from any fighter in a long time. His head movement is outstanding as well. He's getting near impossible to time because of that combination as well as the fact that the fighters have to worry about Pac's unorthadox punches coming from all angles. theres no ****in way that Floyd KO's Pac. mayweather's fans really need to get off his nuts if he wins it will be by decision with precise punching/counter punching.(no offense bro i like u no homo lol). i think Pacquiao wins because he will force mayweather to fight him and thats not something that floyd is completely comfortable with. not saying he cant do it but thats playing into pacquiao's game!
