Clotty is pretty good just overhyped on what he's actually achieved. I honestly didn't like his demeanor at all in the second half of the Marg fight. Not championship mettle. He lost 6 straight rounds 5 to 11 on every judge's scorecard. I think he gets too much credit for that to be honest. And I've seen him gas against lesser guys. I just need to see him beat a decent guy to start saying he's top 3 or anything like that. Don't get me wrong. He's good and tough, it's just that his resume ain't all that. Clottey Cintron would be good if Clottey wins. Then he can actually say he beat a good welterweight for a change. Fight with Cintron No shit? Could be a great fight. I think Clottey takes him in the late rounds. Cintron will land some bombs. But nobody at 147 can KO Clottey.

Clottey will beat Cintron, because Cintron is a quitter. But, besides that, Clottey didn't do himself any favors by looking so-so against a faded Zab. Clottey would've really benefitted had he been able to KO Zab in impressive fashion but that wasn't the case. I think if Berto gets by Collazo, and Clottey gets by Cintron, they will fight each other. Berto's people are trying to bring him along the best they can and I think they're doing a good job thus far. A fight against Clottey would be good for Berto because Clottey is very defensive-minded and it would force Berto to change up his usual head-hunting style. It would definitely be a learning experience for Berto to fight Clottey.

I dunno what is going on with him. He should have a mandatory or something soon atleast. He was at the Versus event supposting his tribesman/countryman Agbeko. I guess if i was Clottey I would either stay buys keeping his title, until after Margarito/Cotto 2, because he has a decent shot of getting the winner because of Arum. Or he could try and go for a unification fight with Berto, I think it would be a difficult fight to secure, but at some point pretty soon Berto is really going to need to force himself on the 147 scene.

He hasn't been mentioned because the two biggest names in the division are busy setting up their rematch. I think the winner of the rematch will probably fight him. Margo v. Cotto II is the best fight to be made in the division for now though.
