Interesting thing about who's rooting for Pac/DLH...

with everybody voicing their opinions on who's rooting for which fighter, i've noticed something interesting. And i wanna get it out of the way right now by saying: no, i'm not filipino. But purely as a boxing fan i am rooting for pac. For one thing, i think a lot of the mexican posters on bscene are being total hypocrites. I'm not saying all of you are, but a lot of you. I'm talking about the mexican fans that wanted to see dlh give margarito a fight. You said dlh was a pu$$y for not giving marg a shot, yet now that its almost fight time, you're still rooting for that same guy who wouldn't give marg the time of day?! He was a fishnet wearing coward not too long ago when he was ducking marg, but now that the fight is less than a day away, you're back to cheering for him? And why? Just because he's mexican? I really don't get how anyone can root for dlh. Did you guys root for the persians in 300 too? Props to all the mexican fans that are rooting for pacman btw, you guys are true boxing fans. :boxing: war manny!!!!

Pacman Pacquiao his got balls taking on this fight not since the great Henry Armstrong has this been athempted 7 lets not for Robinson had Maxim beat only the heat got him id like to see the under dog win all though ive often shouted for DLH in the past il be rooting for Pacquiao if he pulls it off which is highly unlikely it would be something id rather see him fight Hatton than DLH would make a better fight action packed. :dunno::dunno:

bottomline if you pissed on DLH for ducking money marg then you should be rooting for pac, but it's ok to pick dlh for a brutal KTFO victory.

Im mexican and have been a DLH fan for a very long time. Tonight I am rooting for Pacman along with the rest of my family and friends. Im at the point where I would root for pac against anyone except for maybe hatton and marquez. After following Pacman's career and watching him fight live a couple of times it is hard not to respect and like the guy.

seems to me like most mexicans are backing pac for the fight. actually it seems like nearly everyone WANTS pac to win, just alot of people are picking DLH. I think ppl love to go for the underdog.But in this case they're just being a realist!

I have noticed also that there were fans here hating on Oscar when the fight was announced then rooting for him cuz they are Pac haters. There was even a hater who posted that Pac is picking an older fighter(Oscar). But That hater also wants Margarito to fight Oscar. Well Pac and Margarito are just 1 year apart in age.

I can support any boxers from any conutry but i always give my full backing for the boxers from the country im from, Wales or Uk. Im rooting for Pacman tonight.

I really like Pac but Oscar is my second all time favourite fighter, I would not pull against him. If Pac wins it will be an incredible win for him and I will be happy for him, however I will be rooting for Oscar to stop him all the way. WAR GOLDEN BOY!!!!!!

I'm certain the majority of Mexicans rooting for Pac to win this fight would be rooting against him if he were facing any other Mexican fighter like JMM, Diaz, Soto etc. Most of them arent necessarily true Pac fans, they're DLH haters who disliked him even before taking this fight although it probably tipped the balance for some. Personally, I would have loved to have seen DLH-Margarito and Pac-JMM instead of this matchup but DLH had second thoughts about Margarito while Pac wants no part of JMM. DLH may have been initially reluctant about facing Margarito, but he changed his retirement plans and has said several times that he would be willing to fight Margarito down the line after Pacquiao and possibly Hatton. He recently said that he'd like face the winner of Margarito-Mosley and I'm sure he'll stay true to his word this time around because he realizes that his legacy is at steak and he'd be chased out of the sport if he backed out for a second time. The only thing that would throw a wrench in those plans would be a DLH loss so I"m rooting for him to win all the way. DLH's haters may be very vocal but he's always had a loyal Mexican fan base and those that are rooting against him are in the minority. DLH vs Margarito in 2009 bitches!!!:boxing:
