:lol1: Laughing at whoever it was had the idea to put Manny in shoes and Oscar in socks for the photos.
Because he's been weighing 147 fight night for some time now. Why come in dehydrated if you don't need to?
And this is just the weigh in.. he came 135(more or less) last time.. we'll see tomorrow, com fight night.
Why are some people here surprised with Pac at 142?

so de la hoya was 145 hey??
how did he look?? healthy or dried out
he looked good but its more important how he looks 2morrow. it will be interesting to see how much both fighters weigh tomorrow especially DLH because that will be a big key to fight...
Anyone wondering if Pac is actually gonna gain some water weight for tomorrow? I don't see what is the point in dehydrating if you're already under 147 anyway.
They though PAC was a jr. welter 5 years ago
not sure. thats where he should be imo
Well Roach laid it all out at the start saying Pac would weigh in around 141 and come into the ring about 147 or near the weight he fought Diaz. They showed he weighed about 141 after training on 24/7.
What would surprise me really is if Oscar enters the ring a middleweight. I think that would be a big blunder on his part.
Also, having the weigh-in this late to accommodate TV coverage is probably great for the promotion, not so good for the fighter DLH. That's less time De La Hoya has to get sustenance in him.
Dude, they waited like 20 minutes max, it's not like 20 minutes less of hydrating is gonna kill DLH.
We don't act like morons and do dumb little soccer chants to keep ourselves entertained. We're superior and more sophisticated. Only stupid corny European white people do that. Oh, and you white guys also have no rhythm and can't dance. tee hee...
since your black then il speak black to,
f*** you dawg, f*** the Po-lice!!!! Gotta go get sum "hose" yehhhhh n**** LETS ROLL........
see thats what you black guys do.
In my opinion, De La Hoya is too light. Coming in at 145 pounds is just too light and it isn't going to do him any favors. It isn't going to increase his speed, it's going to hurt his stamina. It's the same thing I saw in Roy Jones and Chris Byrd when they came in under the weight limit. Overshooting the weight limit past 35 is not a good thing.
De La Hoya is not the kind of fighter who can be successful when he's tired. He can't take a round off and still win it. He isn't Floyd Mayweather or Roy Jones. If this fight gets into the middle rounds, DLH is going to be in a real war.
