williams was nearly exposed again by a 40 year old
paul is lucky floyd retired otherwise floyd would've ruined him
williams gets hit way too much
i can picture williams eating floyd's right hand all night long
not even close..
so now floyd has problems with williams, lol, i guess floyd can't touch quintanna or williams
"the quintanna fight was a bad night" lmao, thats when you know you've become a nut hugger
Williams is a huge risk and he had a bad night against Quintana but he is a beast. He is getting better with every fight, improving his defense, and he is sitting down on his punches. He is composed in the ring and takes a great shot this kid will go far. Peace
I don't know... Floyd Mayweather is my favorite active boxer (whenever he's active), but I think Paul Williams would be a difficult assignment. At least the Paul Williams of the last 3 fights. I don't know how Quintana ever beat this guy. Floyd's speed would get him some punches in, but there is no escaping the punishment from Williams either. Paul is stronger, busier, and longer.
Right now I say a busted up Floyd Mayweather Jr. would come off the canvas to win a split decision.
DLH is MUCH more accurate than Williams, and DLH can defend himself well, unlike Williams. Williams telegraphs his punches a lot. Floyd's reflexes can see right through that. Williams is not in the same class as PBF.
If Williams tried to be accurate, then he wouldn't be fighting his fight. Volume punchers and are always a boxers nightmare and not only is Williams a volume puncher, but he is a big skilled FAST volume puncher that is 6'2 and can punch. Even if he doesn't land, then he will keep throwing because that's his game( like Margarito). Also, i don't feel Williams would be bothered by what Mayweather is dishing out to him. He has the chin to take it.
I can't really picture Floyd beating Paul Williams, but i would love to see him try. If he did it I would be awe struck, the style and size match ups are made in hell for Floyd.

Oscar also has HALF the punch output of Williams. Floyd most difficult task would be to try and get close enough to land punches on a guy who throws over 100 punches per round, and has a 81-82" reach.
Mayweather has not fought anyone that big before and he had trouble with De La Hoya's reach and height, and in size Oscar is no where as big as Williams is. The thing that would trouble Mayweather and what would be possibly be his downfall is the volume punching that Paul Brings and that consistency. He would be willing to take punches to get them and would be able to cut off the ring( his size makes it easier for him) and Floyd has never seen anything like this before.DLH is MUCH more accurate than Williams, and DLH can defend himself well, unlike Williams. No way PBF could beat Pwill wit ease. That'd be his toughest fight. No way, he would tag him all night long, and forget about the inside fighting, Floyd would dominate that as well.

Also, Williams was not exposed. Phillips was a crafty veteran and the cut is what made those first two rounds look worse then they were. Paul has a great chin so he can afford to make those kind of mistakes.
