Should B-Hop Retire?

For all of ya'll who voted NO, he shouldn't retire, how many of you actually enjoy watching him fight? He is one of the most boring fighters I've ever seen; watching him fight is like watching flies ****. :ugh: :ugh: still feelin' it from the Tito fight or what? I apologize for B-Hop for the flag thing ok? its all good man.......:lol1:

If that fight happened I would root for B-Hop being that he is my #2 favorite boxer of all time. But if I was Chad Dawson, I wouldn't take that fight. High risk, low reward... you not gonna ride with CT, if that happened?lol but if he doesn't get his Joe rematch, doesn't want Chad or Roy, I only see Kessler, Taylor, or Wright rematches possible.

You think BHop would get in there with Chad? no.......he wants Joe!!!! Chad is the type of BOXER that'll trouble B-Hop......his style fits his age, that's not a fight B-Hop will pursue at this stage.....Pavlik fights like an old man :lol1:....too stationary.......so B-Hop took that because his style didn't compliment his age advantage. If Joe doesn't want to do it again....then B-Hop should retire. Promoter/Trainer is a good job for the old head!

If he can't get fights with Dawson, Calzaghe or Jones i think he should retire.

he has nothing left to prove imo . . . he's legacy is sealed and there is no reason for him to jeopardize that. if the jc rematch came along in the couple of months, fine but the first match up was bad and i dont think the 2nd would be much better.

calzaghe is going to move up to hvyweight and take on ray mercer

calzaghe rematch has to happen first, but i think since there last fight, and calzaghe's track record on fighting guy that are out of their prime, i think that calzaghe will probably accept a rematch when hopkins reaches 50 years old..........

Wit the Roy rematch up in smoke, B-Hop might as well walk now. nothin left to prove.

You think BHop would get in there with Chad? He would have much more to gain than to lose against Dawson so I don't really see why not.

If he quit now then yes his legacy is complete he doesn't need anything else. However, clearly he still has something left and i think he can extend that legacy.

LOL @ Roy being so cocky as to turn money down before fighting Joe. That option isnt there for him after his poor performance. The last big money fight people would pay to see him in. If he had beaten Joe they coulda made a pay per view Hopkins rematch. He can't get much of shit now.

Retire. Calzaghe won't give him the re-match, nothing else left to do.

But think about it. Right now he can walk away with his head held high..on top after a dominating win. The longer he keeps fighting(ecspecially at 44), he takes the risk of a not so good ending.

If he can get a rematch with Joe then he should definately fight on. If he can't though I think he should hang them up. The only other fight that would have made sense is a rematch with Roy, and we all know that is now out of the question.
