I remember a poster suddenly announcing he was the writer of that book and the ex Bostom Times (Globe?) boxing writer in the '80's and would we buy his book.
Is that you?
Nah man I just joined this month.
I read in that book "Sorcery at Caesers" that the muscles that cover your temple on each side for most people are 1/4 inch thick.
Haglers were a full inch thick. That's just crazy, it's like a built in helmet.
Wayne mccullough had a great chin... Aaron Pryor that shot from Arguello would have knocked out any fighter at that weight but Pryor didnt flinch...
Mike McCallum is another with a great chin never knocked out and he was in with great power punchers like jackson etc
roy jones........
Roy has a granite chin, but it will only be fully tested when he fights the big punching Joe Calzaghe IMO.
Ruiz ain't got shit on Calzaghe in any way, including power.
of all time? there are far too many to list...
out of current fighters margarito has one of if not THEE best chin currently.
Co-sign. Too many old school badasses to decipher who had the best chin of all time. Right now Marg is probably the toughest cat out there.
